Angelo and the splendid Spanish Steps. Stain is not absolutely necessary. The apartments are just a stone's throw from the Ottaviano Metro stop, with which you can reach easily and in a very short time the other important poles of the city. (Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Circus Maximus etc.). Just some info that may be important for you: Most major tourist destinations, like Rome, have regulations that govern private room or apartment renting. Basically any room or apartment that rents space without respecting these regulations is not legal. Those who aren’t authorized to be renting their properties are surely incapable or unwilling to abide by other laws that are all connected. Why should you care? Booking an illegal rental puts you at risk of being stranded without a place to stay if a property owner is forced to comply with the law and removes their rental from the market. Safety. Hosts who circumvent the rental permit process are also less likely to follow regulations. If you don’t care about the law and preventing disasters, you really don’t care much about the people they might happen to. At check in it is requested a city tax of 6 euros per person per day by the City Of Roma to pay in cash at check in. Personal House Rules: Normal check-in is from 4pm tp 7pm For late arrival it must be requested and there is a cost according to the arrival time. If the booking is for 2 persons and it is requested also the sofa bed, there is a cost of 30 euros. Illegal activities and the download of illegal files are not allowed in the apartment.

I can't use bathtub because there is no hot water and poor water. And when our family was washing, there was bad smell of sewage coming from the drain.
And the staff asked and chased me tight check in time 18:30.
I will never select this accommodation again.

Alessandra is a great host. She's really quick to respond through HomeAway and by email, was waiting for us when we arrived and was available on Whatsapp throughout our stay. The apartment is in a great location – it's just a short walk to the Vatican, the metro and several supermarkets, and all the main sites from the Centro Storico to the Colosseum, Trastevere and the Piazza del Popolo are all walkable too. Inside, it's clean, quiet and newly decorated, with a really comfortable bed, both a bath and a shower, and a kitchen so you can cook if you don't want to eat out. We would definitely return if we go back to Rome.

It is near the Metro station and we were able to get all around Rome very easily. The apartment was nicely supplied with dishes, glasses and towels. As two women traveling alone we felt very safe in the neighborhood and in the apartment. The apartment is just as pictured so there were no surprises when we arrived. I would recommend anyone to stay there and will do so if in Rome again.

Nice apartment close to the Vatican and many excellent restaurants. Allesandra was very accommodating and we loved the car service
she suggested. The apartment itself was nice but not a 5 star luxury property.

Thank you Alessandra for an awesome stay! She was very accommodating allowing us to to drop off our bags in the apartment as we arrived early. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and the bathroom/separate shower room were the best we had during our trip across Europe. Definitely recommend staying here and if we return to Rome would stay again!

The apartment was not just charming- it was perfect in everway. Alessandra was delightful and helped make the stay comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to be able to enjoy time at the apartment. The apartment was located very near the Vatican and within reasonable walking distance of all important Roman sites. It also was in a quiet neighborhood with several stores, cafes and bars located within blocks. If we ever go back to Rome, we will certainly stay here again!

The apartment was perfect for our stay! Alessandra was wonderful and was able to accommodate us on our last minute change on our trip. So helpful and so nice! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment (and working with Alessandra) to anyone staying in Rome.

This was a great place because it was close to the Vatican and walking or bus to other site seeing places. It was also very clean and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. Alessandra was helpful in so many ways-always available to answer questions and very accommodating for my late check I . She also hired the driver for us from the airport and that was convenient since we were getting in late. I’m keeping the information on his place, because when I come back, I’ll stay here for sure.

Great apartment on the second floor with everything you need. There is a lift or stone steps which is easy enough. Well equipped kitchen. Air con was great. Lively apartment on an evening but people do live there.

You are within close proximity to the Vatican Museums, Castel de St Angelo. We walked everywhere and saw the sites.We booked all our POI beforehand through the official sites to avoid waiting. I would recommend booking tours, alot is explained. My favourite place was St Peters Basilica. It was breath taking, amazing and free. It was quiet on an evening.
From the airport we took the Sit Bus shuttle, around £8 pp which took about 50-60 mins from the airport. Again super easy and only a short walk to the apartment. We did the same on the way back to the airport. A taxi is around 70 euro's one way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Rome! Alessandra was the perfect host who assisted us with a taxi from and to the airport/ train station, which made our transfers stress-free. She met us at the apartment for a seamless check-in process. The apartment was on the second floor, and there was a lift for our luggage. The space was extremely clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery markets, and shopping right outside the main door. The apartment is closely located to the Vatican (not even a 10 min. walk), and we also enjoyed walking to the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum (longer walks - 40 mins.), but taxis are everywhere so it's convenient to take a ride to these sites if you prefer. We hope to return soon!

Location is gold. Close to metro station Ottaviano also to Vatican city. Alessandra is very responsive with the chat and she gave us a good recommendation. One thing we need to see improve is that the sound proof system in the room.

Our property manager was excellent to work with. She even connected us to a transportation person to help us get around in the city. Property was as advertised. Great location for seeing the sights in Rome

This was the perfect location to the Vatican. The neighborhood was cute and safe. We loved being able to walk to the Vatican early in the morning. It was also close to a taxi hub too. The apartment is adorable! Very clean and lots of space. Alessandra was so welcoming, and quick to answer all our questions. I would definitely stay there again.

We are a family of 4, with two boys ages 9 and 10. Two great restaurants, mini grocery and great breakfast place steps from the apartment. Photos are very accurate. Walking distance to the Vatican and Vatican tours. Felt like a very safe neighborhood. There is a train station nearby and you could easily take the train from the airport, then walk to the apartment. The artwork in the apartment was done by the very talented owner.

Alessandra, our host, was very responsive to every correspondence from us. She arranged for a car service to pick us up at the airport and deliver us to the apartment—very convenient. The property is in a building on a quiet tree lined street a few blocks from the Vatican, and in the other direction a few blocks from the Metro. There are shops and restaurants all around.
It was nice to have a small fridge and a coffeemaker to make our own breakfast and evening wine and cheese before dinner.
Alessandra’s artwork adds much to the ambiance of the apartment.
Suggestions for improvements would be to have a step stool handy as the cabinets are very high, as is the secured box for valuables. Also it would be helpful to have a broom/dustpan to clean up crumbs. It would also be helpful to have a kitchen sponge and an additional dish towel for washing and drying dishes.
A very nice choice for staying in Rome.

Everything worked well (except the bath tub never got warm for the kids, but the shower was fine, and importantly, the AC worked great). The small kitchen had everything we needed. It is located a short walk from the Vatican and around the corner from the metro which provides cheap, easy access to every major historic site and Roma Termini train station. They provided information on nearby restaurants, markets, and pastry shops (highly recommend Parenti for pastries and Lemongrass for gelato). We really spent no time in the apartment except to cook, eat, and sleep, but it was a comfortable home base for a couple of days in Rome. We took a taxi from the airport, but could easily have hopped on the AirPort Express train and the metro (which we would do in the future).

We completed our 9-day cruise with a 5-day layover in Rome. Chose this nice apartment because of the reasonable price and location. It is only 2 blocks from Vatican City. We love to walk so this apartment was well within walking distance to most of the major city attractions. It is close to the Tiber River, which is very convenient for my daily runs. We learned through our long walks, that the neighborhood that this apartment is in is much quieter than the neighborhoods on the other side of the river - we really appreciated that - we noticed that as soon as we crossed any of the bridges. In the kitchen, we liked the induction range and provided a mocha pot. After a long day being out and about, it was nice to purchase takeout at the local Bogeda's and come back to our place for a quiet dinner. The shower and bathroom are nicely remodeled - plenty of hot water. There was updated air conditioning, which worked very well as it was a bit humid during our stay. One recommendation to the owner is to provide a small mop and bucket for the floor, for guests to use, especially during longer stays.

Overall, this was a great short-term rental experience. Alessandra was very nice and communicative. She was understanding when our flight got delayed and was able to change up our meeting time. The apartment itself was clean and spacious with a nice updated bathroom. It was only a few blocks from the subway, so getting around the city was a breeze. Would recommend to anyone going to Rome!

Just returned from a week in Rome at this property. The location is fabulous. Alessandra was an amazing host. She was very responsive and helpful and accommodating to our schedule. She helped us booked our return taxi to FCO. The apartment is close to the Metro and an easy walk to all the attractions. There are lots of great restaurants and wine bars nearby. It was great that there are stairs and a lift to the 2nd floor apartment.The bathroom and kitchen are beautifully renovated.

Just returned from a 10 day stay here. Alessandra is the perfect host and was so responsive to any and all questions before and during my stay. The location is perfect with restaurants and shops and everything basically within walking distance…or close to metro and taxis if that is your choice. It really is a perfect place for your stay in Rome!

It is very safe and close to public transportaion, trains and busses.

Alessandra was all you could ask for in a host! The second our flight landed, she communicated with me about the check-in process and made it stress-free. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and in a beautiful neighborhood. Restaurants and shops within walking distance surrounded us, while the main attractions in Rome were just a short taxi ride away. I would 100% stay again, no questions asked!

This house is nice and clean with all amenities you may need. It is about 20 min drive to Sorrento through some twisty roads. There are several great restaurants in walking distance or short drive. The best experience was however with the host Lucio. Top notch guy who made amazing recommendations and even made reservations for secret gems there that only locals know about. We jumped a fuse running all AC's and washing machine, not knowing what happened I messaged him and he was there in 5 min. When you are away from home having someone so willing to help is priceless.

This is a lovely little apartment with Allesandra's artwork featured throughout! Could there have been a better location in all of Rome? I don't think so! It's one short block to the Vatican City Wall, and 2 short blocks to St. Peter's Square. It's a wonderful little neighborhood with a fine dining restaurant next door. Allesandra was very helpful and was never more than 10 minutes away from answering our questions. Highest recommendation!

I've stayed in a lot of airbnb's / vrbo's over the years, and I always have a little bit of anxiety before traveling hoping the property is as listed. This property exceeds expectations. Alessandra is a fantastic, helpful and wonderful host who clearly cares deeply for both her properties and guests. I have always loved the Borgo / Prati area, and the location of this apartment is no exception. It's incredibly clean and in a very safe neighborhood, walking distance from everything. I highly recommend this and any other property with Alessandra as a host. I'm grateful we chose it and will certainly be back again.
