Very comfy, clean and close to city centre

The property is well located , only about 10 mts bus ride from the city Centre. There is an excellent pizza restaurant located 5 mts away around the corner.
It was clean and comfortable . Communication with the owner was good.
The kitchen did not have any tea towels , oven gloves ( we used the oven one night ) or dishwasher tablets , sponges for cleaning cutlery or kitchen surfaces .
The owner apologized and I suspect this was an oversight on the part of the cleaner.

This property was ideal for our visit.
There is a large step / steps between the bedrooms and bathroom which caused a little concern for my 80 year old father as he often gets up for the bathroom at night. We left the hall light on and closed our bedroom doors to aid him however. This is just a wee fyi.

The kitchen was one of the only highlights for me.
The apartment looked nice at first when we arrived. However, after going upstairs with the kids, we had a serious safety concern — the window had no safety lock and could be fully opened. The children almost leaned out while playing, which was quite frightening. Luckily, we were there to stop it. We had to close it immediately and block it with heavy items to prevent it from being opened again.
The hairdryer was also faulty. On the first night, it overheated quickly, made a loud noise, and then suddenly stopped working halfway through. We didn’t feel safe using it again, so we had to wait for our hair to air dry before sleeping, which was very uncomfortable. We contacted the host the next day, but unfortunately received no response.
Aside from these issues, the stay was okay, though some furniture (like the dining chairs) felt unstable.
