About this cabin rental

The landing cottage is a cozy cabin, "my home away from home." Decompress and relax with the whole family or on your own, at this peaceful place. Embrace nature by enjoying the breathtaking views of the surroundings. Enjoy nearby activities such as taking a stroll at the Big Bear Farmer's Market, snowboarding/skiing, fishing, or simply stepping outside for a walk and enjoying the fresh air, the possibilities are endless. ADDITIONAL VACATION SHORT TERM RENTAL RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS: ✔️Please enter through the double doors on the side of the cabin, follow concrete path towards the wood deck where you will find the double doors with the key pad lock. ✔️ Per city ordinance, parking at the home is limited to 2 cars (on the driveway, not the street). ✔️ Per city ordinance, this home will comfortably accommodate a maximum of up to 6 guests. Unfortunately, these are city ordinances that we have no control over. If we are cited for non-compliance, you (the Guest) will be fined up to $1,500, and our Vacation Rental Permit may be revoked. These rules were put in place by the city out of consideration for Full Time Big Bear residents. ✔️Your understanding and compliance are truly appreciated. ✔️ All music must be kept at a level that cannot be heard past the fence line. ✔️ Out of respect for our neighbors, please refrain from any yard activities after 10pm. ✔️ SMOKING is allowed outside ONLY & all butts must be properly disposed accordingly in the trash. Housekeeping will charge an additional $50 if they have to pick up any left around. INSIDE OF PROPERTY IS NON SMOKING. ✔️ Please wash all used dishes and take your trash out, trash shall be bagged and dispose only in the home trash container, any additional trash shall be taken away to city containers or dump site. If trash is not bagged, there will be an extra fee. Housekeeping will charge an additional $75 if they have to wash the dishes or remove additional trash not bagged.. ✔️Due to existing sewage system of the landing Cottage and to avoid sewage and toilet clog up during your staying, please do not dispose toilet paper inside toilet, Please dispose toilet paper in trash container. Any issues arising from this rule will be the guest responsibility. ✔️Host is severely allergic to animals, this property is not pet friendly. It is understood that all homes should allow service and emotional support animals in premises. Therefore, if this a need, please coordinate with host in advance due the host's health condition regarding allergies. ✔️For safety, please set up wall heaters' thermostat at 55 F degrees and unplug the portable electric heaters before leaving the premises. Also, please ensure to lock doors and windows properly before leaving the premises. Any issues and expenses arising from these rule will be the guest responsibility. ✔️There is a closet in the bedroom closer to the bathroom that is off limits. ✔️Guests will be charged for late check out. Our housekeepers need every minute to make Cozy Up Cabin clean and sanitary for the next guests. ✔️ Enjoy yourself & our cabin! We appreciate you leaving things as they are for our family & others to enjoy for years to come! ✔️The number of GUESTS on the property may not exceed 6 guests. We do not want to risk our rental permit. Please do not disturb our local residents with parties and nuisances. We are very respectful of neighbors and ask that you are, too. Any unregistered guests seen on the property will be charged $300 per person, per night. Any noise violations will be at the guests expense. ✔️While we do everything in our power to provide a clean and comfortable space for your vacation, we are also limited in some ways, and cannot promise absolute perfection. If there is anything we should be aware of, or if you have a concern for safety please contact us immediately ✔️Your safety matters. This property features an exterior security camera: camera is located outside of the double doors on the side of the house (wood deck) where the key pad door lock is located for access. The camera is outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The camera is motion activated and record video and sound when motion is detected ✔️ You are responsible for disclosing any allergies prior to booking so we can determine if this home will be a good fit. ✔️By law, you are required to carry tire chains in your vehicle when traveling in mountain communities in the state of California during the winter months. For liability reasons, we are not able to help if your car becomes stuck. Snow Removal is the guests’ responsibility. During winter storm weather there may only be parking for 1 car. Shoveling may be required to gain access to the cabin/amenities. A snow shovel is at the back of the cabin if needed. Tenants understand that the cottage owners (Release Party) are NOT responsible for any injury caused by slipping on snow or ice and that the tenants are responsible for the removal of snow and ice around the doorways and paths to house and car; that the Released Party are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to the tenants’ persons or property or to their guests and that the tenants assume the risk to their persons and property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, acts of nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, or stoves, tenant's’ failure to remove snow and ice around access areas; for any unforeseeable circumstances. Under no circumstances will the tenants or their guests hold the Released Party responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond our control, acts of nature, or weather-related problems. If all 3 access roads to and from Big Bear are closed for more than 4 hours at the same time, then you may reschedule your stay for another time in the same home, you will have to pay the price difference if the price is higher during the rescheduled dates. We reserve the right to cancel or substitute like accommodations if for some reason the home becomes uninhabitable. Any filming and/or photography to be used for commercial use is prohibited, this a family vacation home. Disturbing the peace is an ordinance violation. ANY VIOLATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION OF EVERYONE, WITHOUT REFUND OF RENTS AND POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CITY IMPOSED FINES.
