Free parking but the access road to the hotel is very steep and uneven and we grounded out our car in the way in and the way out (we have a normal VW golf - not a sports car!). The staff were very helpful and they have a fridge to share and drinks to buy from another fridge. The room was a good size with a very old TV, no fridge or tea making facilities (but they gave us a kettle when requested) and very old heater/air conditioner. The air conditioner did work but only just keep the room cool enough in October (it was about 24 degrees during the day). The bathroom was very old. The toilet flush got stuck, the shower head was ancient and the sink taps were stained and corroded. The free breakfast was the worst we had this holiday - nothing specifically missing, but very low quality cheese and ham, yoghurt, bread rolls that was so hard you couldn’t cut them open and 1 cake. Catching the bus was very easy and cost €2 per adult for 90 minutes locally. We went to Florence centre in the daytime and to Fiesole in the evenings. I would not rush back again.

It is a nice hotel, outside busy city centre but well connected by bus. Quiet area and excellent view to city centre.

We loved the premises and the staff! The breakfast was really good and awesome to have. The views are amazing! The only problem we had was that we were in the middle of a heat wave and the ac was out of service! It would have been nice to learn about this before hand.
