About this house rental
The historic farmhouse “Casetta del Pievano” is a typical stone building from the Pistoia mountains. The farmhouse has been renovated and equipped with all modern comforts. Features such as the historic fireplace, the stone walls, and the spacious living area remain intact.
The house is surrounded by nature and overlooks a breathtaking view of the mountains. Several trails branch off from the garden, leading to higher vantage points that take you all the way to the ridge marking the border between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, where the magnificent Lake Scaffaiolo is located.
The nearest town is Spignana, 2.5 km away.
In addition to the three bedrooms and the living room with a sofa bed, there is a large room with a table and two sofas, as well as a fully equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator, freezer, kettle, microwave, American-style coffee maker, and a moka pot for Italian coffee.
In the room next to the kitchen, there is an oven for baking pizza and bread, a wood-fired stove, and an electric oven.
Accessible from the garden is a relaxation area featuring a Finnish sauna and a sensory shower.
The covered area by the entrance allows you to enjoy lunch at the large table while relaxing in the shade.
On the other side, there is a gazebo with a table and lounge chairs where you can relax while taking in the view.
