Historic downtown Fernie and the Elk River are five minutes away, and world-renowned Fernie Alpine Resort is a short drive. Between adventures, this one-bedroom condo keeps life easy: a full kitchen stocked with locally roasted coffee, a gas fireplace to come home to, a balcony with a BBQ, and a quiet queen bedroom. Downstairs, there's an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room and gym, plus your own underground parking spot and storage for your skis and bikes.

Step inside and the kitchen is right there on your right, with stools at the counter and the dining table just beyond. It's a full kitchen with everything you need to cook a real meal: stovetop, oven, fridge, microwave, pots, pans and utensils. Coffee is sorted with a coffee maker, a grinder and locally roasted beans, plus a kettle for hot water. Oil, salt and pepper are already in the cupboard, so you only need to shop for the meal itself. There's seating, cutlery and tableware for two, whether that's breakfast at the counter or a longer dinner at the table.

Past the kitchen, the living room centres on the gas fireplace. Flip it on after a day out and the room warms up fast. Two windows and a glass door bring in plenty of daylight, with blinds for when you want it dim. The door leads out to your balcony, where a natural gas BBQ means dinner can happen outside. Grill out there, then bring it back in to eat by the fire.

The bedroom sits off the living area and is set up for proper rest. There's a queen bed, a big window for morning light, a closet for unpacking, and a wall-mounted TV for a movie before sleep.

The full bathroom has a tub and shower for washing off a long day. It's stocked with fresh towels, locally made hand soap and 2-in-1 body wash, so there's one less thing to pack. An in-unit washer and dryer lets you refresh your gear mid-trip, which helps on longer stays.

The condo will be entirely yours during your stay. As a Silver Rock guest, you'll also have access to the building's pool (open as early as 6am), hot tub, steam room, and small gym, plus underground parking and a ski locker (bring your own lock - or reach out and rent one from us). Please note, the communal areas at Silver Rock are all subject to closures at any time, sometimes without notice, due to various circumstances.

Once your stay is confirmed, we'll email you a secure link to your personalised StayIn guest guide, which sits outside of Vrbo. It has your check-in and check-out details, reservation, parking and property info, plus the option to accept or decline our damage waiver (see below). The code will be visible five minutes before your scheduled check-in time. If you won’t have internet access at check-in, please message us in advance so we can make other arrangements.

Accidents happen, right? Upgrade your Vrbo coverage with our optional damage waiver. For a small fee, you're covered for up to CA$1,000 in accidental damage, like lost keys, broken dishes, stains and scuffs. Opt in or out via your StayIn guest guide. If you skip it, you're responsible for any damage. It doesn't cover damage caused by any animal, intentional damage, negligence or extra cleaning.
