Good choice for Quebec City

It was a quirky little apartment that felt very French going up the stairs to get to it. The decor is fresh and light

It was a described quite noisy into the early hours of the morning but we’d been warned by the owners so that wasn’t a problem Earplugs were enough to keep the noise out. Needs some knives for cooking with other than that well equipped.

6 / 10

Clean and convenient.

Convenient for downtown commute. It was clean. Lot’s of sleeping options.

Air conditioning was not working. Broken window cranks and no screens on any of them for air flow.

3 / 10

Great place if you don't mind not being able to sleep.

The apartment was clean and cute and only a 30 minute walk to old Quebec City.

There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment with no hand railing sometimes causing it to be potentially very dangerous. Very steep going down too. The building itself is terrible for noise. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the apartments around you, especially the apartment above who have a baby. This would have been fine if we were able to sleep in the night but the night club below is extremely loud with singing, screaming and loud base until about 3am. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and probably got about 3 hours sleep each night because of the building's noise and location being above a bar.

3 / 10

Did not match advertisement. Disappointing due to accessibility (59 steep stairs), comfort, noise, and privacy issues.

It was clean and beautifully designed with cute cactuses.

The property is not accessible. It requires climbing 59 very steep, narrow, old stairs, and this is not mentioned anywhere in the listing. There is also a bar directly beneath the building, which can contribute to noise. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, and the building itself is quite old. The unit shares a hallway with the neighboring units, and there is a second door inside the apartment leading to the shared hallway that does not have a secure lock. You can clearly hear neighbors talking, walking, and other everyday noise throughout your stay.
