About this apartment rental
The apartment, measuring approximately 280 square meters including the terrace, is located on the first floor of a historic building dating back to the late 1700s. It consists of a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and original frescoes, a large kitchen with a fireplace and copperware from the last century, a hallway, a large master bathroom with dark marble from a now-defunct quarry, three spacious bedrooms—all equipped with mattresses, orthopedic pillows, and 10-centimeter-thick mattress toppers; a billiards room with an original Pietro Mari billiards table and cue rack; and a spacious terrace overlooking the large private park, where you can host outdoor lunches and dinners in the shade of centuries-old trees. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, TV, and every type of appliance and utensil needed to prepare unforgettable lunches and dinners. The fireplace also features grates of various sizes and a vintage, manually operated double-spit rotisserie. The terrace features an outdoor seating area and a charcoal grill.
Vaulted and frescoed ceilings, original architectural details from the last century, period furnishings, and dark marble floors—now virtually impossible to find—complete this splendid setting located on the historic Via Francigena. The center of Siena (a splendid medieval city known above all for the Palio) is about a 10-minute drive away, and the center of Florence can be easily reached in about 45 minutes.
