Super authentic Italian villa. Loved, the barrel ceiling, the brickwork, fireplace, shutters, etc. Charming setting with fantastic view. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and we fell in love with the Moka pot for making espresso. The owner, Olga, was eager to please, and graciously provided information about neighbors who made and sold their own wine. She extended the time to keep the pool open, just because she saw how much we enjoyed it. Town was close and convenient--shopped more than one grocery store and had plenty options for eating out. The area tours for wine and olive tasting did not disappoint. The first days we stopped continually to take pictures, not realizing the entire Tuscan area was nothing but spectacular views, around every turn and over every hill. Showers were good with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Appliances worked well. The villa, having thick walls and floors was totally soundproof so it worked well for sharing with two couples. The setting is very shady, but if you want sun, Olga lets you sit in her lovely yard.
We came to Italy without realizing how challenging the driving would be. There are a few highways, but the rest of the time we felt like we were in a go kart in a maze. All roads were constant curves, up down, confusing switchbacks, etc. GPS made it all possible, but we were located quite a distance from many of our destinations and the driving became fatiguing. We should have stayed various places, instead of using Seggiano as a hub for traveling in all directions.
We saw large cities, and small villages, preferring the small and figuring out the train was the way to go to get to Rome, Florence, and Pisa because of (lack of parking) and the NTZ areas. I would also suggest that it's time to update the mattresses and pillows. Both were very firm, but not super comfortable.

Casa dotata di tutto il necessario, molto fresca e silenziosa. Il panorama su Seggiano e sul tramonto è molto bello.
Accoglienza fredda e frettolosa, la casa soffre di continui sbalzi di tensione elettrica, a volte si rimane al buio anche se solo per attimi e questo è molto fastidioso; i letti, entrambi, hanno reti e materassi che forse si dovrebbero cambiare perché si scivola verso il centro e anche questo è fastidioso; lo spazio esterno è un piccolo cortile un po' trascurato, dove si può mangiare e godere di una bella vista. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccessivo.

La posizione spettacolare, la casa meravigliosa, il panorama da mozzare il fiato! Mi sono innamorata di Villa Quercia. Credo che sia un posto veramente speciale. Tutto il circondario è pazzesco e in casa era presente tutto quello di cui si poteva aver bisogno.
La discesa verso la casa è molto ripida, ma niente di insuperabile quando ci si abitua. Per il resto devo dire che ci siamo abituati in fretta a recuperare la legna per il camino e a buttare la spazzatura dove indicato. Non sono stati reali problemi, siamo stati davvero benissimo!
