La struttura è molto bella e pulita, si trova a quasi 800m di altitudine e per arrivarci bisogna superare Pieve Pontenano (500 mslm), proseguendo per la strada tra i boschi del Casentino. consiglio di arrivare alla struttura con la luce del giorno perchè la frazione nella quale si trova la struttura è poco illuminata, si tratta di una frazione con poche case. una volta arrivati il panorama è meraviglioso. le chiavi sono nelle cassette con codice di sicurezza e non ci vuole molto a capire come usarle. abbiamo trovato gli ambienti riscaldati e nonostante la colazione non sia inclusa abbiamo trovato delle cialde del caffè, biscotti, marmellate, ecc. vista la posizione e la distanza con il primo bar o punto ristoro aperto, consiglio di portarsi l'occorrente per fare colazione perchè la struttura è dotata di cucina con piano induzione, pentole, padelle, forno per scaldare eventuale pane, ecc.
sicuramente migliorerei la comunicazione con i gestori della struttura, non sono riuscito a comunicare tramite whatsapp, per ottenere risposte tramite la messaggistica di booking ho dovuto attendere 2 giorni. poi messaggi tramite email, insomma molto migliorabile, manca quel contatto umano che a volte farebbe piacere avere.
inoltre il lenzuolo coprimaterasso del divano letto non è adatto al materasso, per cui abbiamo dovuto arrangarci.

Don’t be put off by the road and hard check-in procedure leading to the accommodation—it’s absolutely worth it. If only for the cooler mountain air. The recently renovated villa is very spacious. Impeccably clean, with luxurious bathrooms. A large garden, on-site parking next to the villa, and unbeatable views of the surrounding hills. Truly unbelievable for the price we paid—most likely an introductory rate.
The check-in was definitely problematic. I don’t know whether it was due to the new law in Italy aimed at limiting one-day tourism or because we didn’t communicate directly with the owner. Chatting with AI, then arranging with an assistant to get the key code, is definitely not for people with a short temper. It took a long time, but we managed in the end. To support my experience, I must mention that at the same time an Italian couple was trying to check in, and judging by their very heated phone conversation, their check-in wasn’t a walk in the park either.
