Imagine yourself back in those three famous days in 1863 when you take in the festivities of our 150th Anniversary! You will have fun exploring the area; the adventurous will enjoy touring the 40 miles of battlefield roads (by bicycle, horseback or vehicle), tour a civil war house, talk to the soldiers in encampments and reenactments, or take a haunted ghost tour by night.
At the end of the day you can relax and enjoy your stay at our newly renovated 2nd floor accommodations located on historic Baltimore Street in downtown Gettysburg. The property has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds and a single day bed and can sleep 5. There is 1 bathroom which consists of a tub/shower combo, a fully fitted eat in kitchen, a TV/sitting room with cable TV, and Wifi. We provide you with towels, linens, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, iron and board, hair dryer, everything that will make you feel right at home!

Perfect location, spacious accommodation and excellent host. Location allowed us easy access to places like the Shriver House, Free Civil War Museum, Mr. G’s Ice Cream, Farnsworth House, Jenny Wade House, Battlefield Bus Tours, Orphanage Evergreen Cemetery, and many more popular tourist spots all within walking distance. I always enjoy visiting Gettysburg and must honestly say this trip was my best thanks to our ability to not only stay so close to many of the tourist hot spots but the fact that this Civil War building we stayed in gave us all a true feeling of being part of this awesome place. I will be back with my grandchildren and yes great grandchildren and I will most definitely do all I can to once again enjoy Gettysburg by staying here ,

Had a fantastic time in Gettysburg and this property could not have had a better location. It’s right downtown and in walking distance to everything. Our hosts were wonderful and our stay couldn’t have been better. We will definitely come back again!

Great location for visiting Gettysburg, easy walking distance to the store, places to eat, and many historic sights. I didn’t have much contact with the host but that was because there was no need to. From what I experienced, I believe he would have been helpful with any needs we might have had. The property has some quirks but I expect that when in a house that 180 or so years old, I would definitely stay here again.
