Good flat but beware it’s incredibly loud and if the AC isn’t working it’s a mission to sleep

Great location. Close to everything and well connected. Clean and generally spacious

The AC wasn’t working and it’s so incredibly loud in the evenings as the flat is opposite a bar. It was so hot so we had to open the windows but it was too loud to sleep. Basically we barely slept. We complained to staff from day 1 and only on day 2 did they manage to give us a fan. Other than that all good

3 / 10

Not that great

The mirrors and aesthetics

There was no AC. The locks complicated, no extra sheets, but a bed in the living room? No extra towels? So we have to wash and reuse? Then no detergent to wash have to buy and leave as not staying for long?

7 / 10

No sleep

Clean Location

Staff In the middle of two hostels and the teenagers make loud noise till 3:00 am

Good until NOT

Location is good, the design of the house is cool. Abundant of utensils and pots for us to cook. Good AC.

There were a few things we were disappointed with during our stay: (A) Bathroom/drainage problem The shower drain was not working properly. Using the shower flood the bathroom. We tried placing rolled-up towels on the floor to contain the water, and we had to use the small shower head instead of the big one, and even then we had to stop the water frequently to let it drain a little before continuing (which still flood the bathroom). The property sent someone to repair it, but the problem was still not fixed when we checked out. This made showering very inconvenient throughout our stay. (B) Noise Noise from the hostel in the neighboring building was barely blocked, making it difficult to rest at night. Hostel stays noise from 10pm-3am, and it's still too loud with headphones on my head, because their shouting and the screaming. (C) Unexpected extra charge We accidentally misunderstood our booking and thought our checkout date was the 10th instead of the 9th. Once the property contacted us, we immediately explained our mistake and asked to extend our stay by one night. They confirmed the additional night would cost €80 plus tax, and we paid shortly afterwards. However, only after we had completed the payment were we informed there also is an extra charge for changing the sheets. This charge had not been communicated to us beforehand, so we asked several times for clarification. Instead of providing the terms, they insisted on paying. The way this was communicated also felt quite unfriendly. We understand that the mistake about checkout date was ours, and we were happy to pay for the additional night. However, being informed about another charge only AFTER payment, followed by unhelpful responses when we asked for clarification was very disappointing. Overall, the unresolved bathroom problem, poor noise insulation, and the way the additional charge was handled made the stay less pleasant than expected.
