Yikes!!!!
It was only two nights .
Omg!! What a dump! This landlord did an old-fashioned bait-and-switch and gave us their alt. property. The neighborhood was filled with drug users and crackheads who roamed the streets day and night. According to the next-door neighbor, there were two murders in town on July 4th, and gunfire can be heard frequently, only two blocks away. According to the locals, the area between 15th and 19th Street is the "hood" where you lock your doors 24/7 and you don't go out at night.
The property itself was poorly maintained, and the grass in the backyard was over 12 in high and virtually unusable. The next-door neighbor lady told me they were planning to report the property to the city that following Monday for neglect and unkept lawn.
The walls and door frames were scraped and beat up and poorly maintained. The walls in the kitchen and bedrooms were completely void of any decor.
The dorm sized mini fridge was a joke. It's too small for a pizza box with no ice maker or ice cube trays. If you want ice, you have to go down to the local convenience store / drug dealer hang out to buy it.
The house is a non-smoking facility, which is another joke,yet there's no place to sit on the outside of the property. No chairs, benches, or table where available for outdoor smoking or relaxation.
Construction materials littered the front of the house from recent repairs to the porch and exterior. Right next to the front steps was a huge cockel burr bush that covered your pants with burrs as you walked by.
There is no driveway or off-street parking available. The front living room window was made of single pane glass and had most of the calk missing around the edges of the window; making the place an icebox in the winter.
The flooring was bulging up in the hallway and moved under your feet with every step. The kitchen cabinets were another joke. Poorly lined and unkept, they looked trashy.

Very disappointing experience.
Spacious House
I had a very bad experience with this property, especially considering that the house was provided to me at the last minute.
The house had a bad smell, and even the towel provided for bathing smelled bad. The windows were also unable to lock properly, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
The pictures and videos shared by the owner made the property look much better than it actually was. When I arrived, the actual condition of the house was completely different from what was shown.
I felt so uncomfortable that I did not even want to return to the house after going outside. If I had had more time to find another place, I would have immediately left this property and stayed somewhere else.
This was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. Considering the condition of the property and the significant difference between the advertised pictures and the actual property, I am requesting a full refund of my payment.
I hope you will review this situation fairly and resolve it as soon as possible.
