The location was great in Florence - easy walking distance to and from the train station and things we wanted to see. There was a bit of noise at night, but earplugs helped.There was plenty of room to spread out between the 3 of us. As previous reviewers mentioned, the apartment's layout is unique.I even had time to read one of the many books at the apartment during our stay.It was a bit warm in the apartment, but with outside temps of 102, that's to be expected.The host helped us with the lock since the inner door required a full 360 rotation to unlock.

The layout is unusual, but it did the job, lots of space and the hosts were good communicators. The bad: prior to our visit I had read reviews about the beds being uncomfortable and I inquired with the host about it and they responded that they had no plans to change them currently- well they were miserably soft/unsupported which was very unfortunate- kind of ruined a good nights rest. No washcloths were provided and really nowhere to hang the hand towels or bath towels after use. A window was left open before our arrival and we battled mosquitoes for our entire 4 night stay. The place is quirky- odd layout, but centrally located and with a handful of enhancements it could be nice.
