Peaceful Retreat is on a quiet road with on street parking. The rooms are light and spacious with plenty of pots and pans to make catering for yourself easy. Salt, pepper, sugar and a few herbs and spices for use is a nice touch. Within walking distance of the property is Knightswood shopping area with a small Tesco and Iceland. There is also a Co-op close by and the train station is also within walking distance for trips into Glasgow.
Although we didn't meet the host, he messaged leaving his number saying to get in touch should we have any problems.
Not having a toilet brush in either of the toilets.

It was very clean and had all our needs. Bus and train service close by . Grocery store 5 minute walk.
Didn’t find anything to complain about.

Just what we needed
Upstairs toilet flusher is awful, not enough toilet roll we had to get a reserve out our car, second place we have stayed in scotland now and both times different houses had building works next door on a bank holiday weekend working. Also the outside sewerage drain outside front gate is extremely loud flowing and can hear it all night long from front bedroom
