About this house rental
Gorgeous home in Lajatico with private swimming pool, can be inside or outside
Rustic Tuscan architecture sets the tone for relaxed time together, with imposing timber beams and a traditional tiled ceiling extending above a generous shared living space. Deep sofas form a comfortable conversation area, while the dining table beyond invites long, sociable meals beneath a striking arrangement of pendant lights. Arched glazing brings in natural light and glimpses of greenery, reinforcing the connection with the countryside. A swimming pool provides an appealing setting for leisurely outdoor hours between excursions.
The landscapes around Lajatico are made for slow exploration, with undulating farmland, olive groves and hilltop settlements defining this part of Tuscany. The village itself is closely associated with the Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air venue set amid the countryside. Volterra offers Etruscan heritage, atmospheric lanes and sweeping views, while the wider area rewards walkers and cyclists. Fishing is another option for guests keen to spend peaceful hours outdoors.
