About this apartment rental
The apartment is located right in the center of the pedestrian zone, on the third floor (no elevator) of a historic 14th-century building.
Recently renovated and furnished with style and good taste. The open kitchen overlooks the living room and is fully equipped. One bedroom features a double bed with a latex mattress; the room also includes a sleeper chair that can be converted into a single bed upon request.
The second bedroom offers the option of a double bed or two single beds. (We automatically set up the double bed; if you prefer two separate beds, please let us know in advance.)
Two bathrooms with showers and new fixtures; a large living room with a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV; a relaxation area and a dining area.
During the warmer months, portable air conditioners connected to the windows are available in the bedrooms and living room.
The apartment can accommodate a total of 7 people: 2 double beds, 1 double sofa bed, and 1 single armchair bed.
Located in the ideal spot both for fully experiencing the city—near cultural areas, the Old Port, restaurants, nightlife, supermarkets, and local shops right downstairs—and for serving as a base for business travelers. The Carlo Felice Theater, exhibitions at the Ducale, the Old Port, etc. You’ll be able to experience Genoa just like a true Genoese.
Please note that the building does not have an elevator; the apartment is located on the third floor and is therefore NOT suitable for people with mobility issues.
The apartment is fully equipped as shown in the photos and descriptions.
Flexible check-in and check-out times based on mutual availability.
The apartment is accessible via the Metro; the San Giorgio stop is a two-minute walk away and is connected to the main train stations. By car, take the Genova Ovest highway exit, continue on the Sopraelevata, and take the Porto Antico exit, where paid parking is available in the EXPO PORTO ANTICO or Acquario areas. The house is also accessible by bus from the Caricamento or Filippo Turati stops
We recommend arriving in Genoa by train or plane, as these options are easier, better connected, and more economical; traveling by car, on the other hand, can be more complicated and quite expensive, though we’ll do our best to assist you.
Marco and I will always be available to answer the phone or respond to emails. If you need it, we’ll be happy to provide you with all the information about the city so you can make the most of your vacation, while also ensuring maximum privacy. It’s best to contact us one or two days in advance to confirm times and get exact directions to your destination. We’ll hand you the keys in person.
If you’re arriving by car, please plan ahead because there’s no free parking in the city center, and you can’t drive right up to the house (it’s a restricted traffic zone with a camera). We can, if necessary, point you to nearby parking lots.
We’ll welcome you into our home.
Marco and Elisabetta will be delighted to welcome you and are always available to assist you during your stay.
Please note that all guests—including infants and children—must provide identification, as we are required by law to report all guests, including infants and children, to the police station.
If you’re arriving by car, it’s a good idea to look for a parking spot; if you need help, we’d be happy to assist you.
Upon arrival, you’ll also need to pay the tourist tax in cash, as indicated on your reservation.
