If you want to be treated rudely, then stay here in a tiny room that is overpriced

Really nice and clean.

Homeless people! Literally saw people doing crack outside our window. But thats expected in LA! However,I really wanted to emphasize on the bar service… When we sat down to get our complimentary drinks, that we had to pay for amenities $25 the bartender was extremely incapable of acknowledging us and giving us a menu! In fact, after sitting for 10 mins he said he would be right with us. 10 mins after the lady next to us rang him down and ordered and he just looked at us. Didnt even bother to see if we wanted a menu! Anyway we were short on time heading to a show so we left and that was when he finally acknowledged us. If you guys are busy on a Saturday night have 2 people at the bar or someone cross trained to handle front desk and bar! There is no reAson to have 2 people at front desk doing NOTHING at 7pm! I was literally observing! But yeah i 100% would not stay here again bc of service.there are nicer hotels with a working elevator and bigger rooms! I excepted better for the hilton! So disappointed

Overall everything was really good for our stay.

The roof top, but need to stay open a little longer and have some appetizer’s available !

Everything was wonderful

The food was a bit expensive, 12.00 for a 3.00 bottle of coke was a bit extreme, and 26.00 for basically a 2 patty cheeseburger was a bit much

Looking for a comfortable hotel in downtown LA that I felt it was reasonably priced.

Rooms not big but cozy and comfortable.

For the purposes of my travel, there was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Perfect until the end

I slices my toe really bad getting out of the shower. Hotel was more worried about us checking out while i couldn’t control the bleeding.

A hotel posing to be luxurious.

I liked that I had a place to sleep. The valet employees were incredibly nice and they were the most helpful of the staff.

I did not like that they did not have a microwave I also did not like that they advertised our room as a king room and we had a queen bed in a closet size room with a window facing a building and had no view at all. Also the $25 breakfast almost $30 breakfast was the same type of breakfast that you get at other Hilton locations complimentary. That breakfast was definitely something that should have been a continental breakfast considering it was eggs warmed up in a warmer sitting there as was the pancakes sitting in a warmer and all the other food. Not to mention there were not a lot of options for breakfast there was no turkey bacon for those who cannot eat pork and normally with a breakfast that you're spending money on at a hotel You have choices. Needless to say I was disappointed that I was spending money on a continental breakfast.

Perfect place to avoid a commute back to OC after an LA based event

It’s a great little hotel just off the edge of skid row.

The price for valet is high for it being the only option for two petite women who don’t want to talk thru LA at night. The service was friendly and efficient however a bit over priced.

Bad customer experience!!!

I faced some flight delays (several miscommunications, including police service inside of aircraft) staying inside of aircraft around 10 hours with no detail of my flight and with poor internet signal, based on that, I did not remember to contact outside, mainly to contact Hilton Checkers Hotel about my delay. My flight was planned to arrive in LAX airport around at 9 PM, arriving only around 4 am, one day after. When I arrived at hotel with my family, tired, overnight in the aircraft, long trip, I was informed that no-show happened ... I can understand, but any support was offered, I had to find another hotel in the website, no support from manager, I am able to understand about no-show rules, to pay my daily hotel rate, but there was no possibility to access reserved room and the most important, no room available anymore with my reservation. Sorry but in my view, very poor support because I was with my family. Positive point, as I was forced to find another hotel in the website, I reserved in a competitor hotel and my family and myself had an excellent stayed in LA, early checking with no extra tax, excellent hotel team support when I arrived in this hotel, congrats and many thanks for Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LA LIVE, it was an example of good customer service and experience.

Staffs are very nice. Hotel is very safe and they alway have staff at the door at night, Elevator need room key to go up. Easy to find parking arround the hotel.

overall very nicely renovated hotel

Nicely appointed and very clean, don't miss the view from the roof top bar.

If we could have left our car in valet for a few hours after checkout time. We came specifically to visit a couple museums and had to pay for parking again at the museums although they were easily walking distance from the hotel. Beds were a little too firm for my taste.

Pleasant

Central location in the financial district and good hotel, but we would not stay in downtown LA again due to the homeless-problems everywhere. Also in the financial district. There were way too many crazy situations for our liking. The worst was that I was threatened and forced to by one food close to the hotel when I was getting Subway the first night. Liked the fitness room.

Amount of homeless and high people in the area. Roof rop bar was not open/managed when we were there. The elevator was broken part of our stay so we had to use the service elevator. Paid $20 for 3 waterbottles.

The house keeping staff , telling lies about smoking in the room when it's clear that there is no proof and not even smoke smell ...then they quietly charge usd 375 as penalty for smoking ...you have to double check your bill...

Hilton Checkers is a great location in the middle of downtown. Staff were very welcoming upon my arrival, the penthouse rooftop was the best experience I could ever imagine especially at night time, would definitely stay here again.
