Was walking distance to all major attractions. Price was good compared to other hotels.
Very basic, shared fridge and microwave. Kitchenette smelled of old food.

Breakfast was a nice surprise
8.0
Compared to other places in the area, it is a truly budget-friendly option for travelers.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The hotel provided a free breakfast that was quite satisfying (I love the kimchi congee), ensuring a good start to the day without the need for additional expenses.
Some of the things in the room were showing signs of age. For example, the sockets beside the bed cannot be firmly plugged in, and a slight movement can cause the charger to fall off. While they were functional, they could benefit from a bit of refurbishment or updates to improve the overall guest experience.

The hotel was very affordable and conveniently situated in a decent area of Toronto, providing easy access to various places.
The hotel is a student residency, which makes it a very safe place to stay. With security measures in place, such as controlled access and vigilant staff, I felt reassured about my safety throughout my stay.
The room had a strange smell reminiscent of smelly socks. It was definitely not a pleasant aroma to encounter. Unfortunately, the windows couldn't be opened, which limited the options for fresh air and contributed to the lingering odor. I had to keep the air conditioner running, but that resulted in a constant noise that was somewhat disruptive to my comfort. It would have been preferable to have a quieter solution for air circulation.

Great value for the location, free breakfast
Room smelled unpleasant and there was only one electrical outlet for the whole room (and not near either of the beds).

Nice rooms, excellent location and friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast menu.
The charging ports are at an extremely wrong place. Someone with back problems would die getting to those points. There should be a provision for drinking water, at least for people having long stays.

Location.
Old, expensive especially parking. Nothing special about the hotel- just a room for sleeping.

Greatly location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Beds were pretty comfortable. Good sized room. I liked the make up area outside of the bathroom.
Hair on the counter and on the tub in the bathroom. Someone's lingerie was in the wardrobe. The room smelled really awful. Like a boys room that had a years worth of dirty underwear and socks in it. I had to Door Dash for Febreeze. I just couldn't sleep because of the smell. Duct tape covering where the trim was missing on the bottom of the wall. We checked in late and the desk is only staffed until 11pm. Then it's a security guard only.
I understand it's a university dorm and it definitely saved us a few hundred dollars but the attention to detail on the cleanliness. The room needed sanitizing more than a typical housekeeper could do.
We would stay again if we were able to check in early to deal with the issues with the room. Though the front desk lady did come up to retrieve the lingerie at the end of her shift which we appreciated.

Bathroom was not so good.

The location and the breakfast was good. The warm reception as we got in late due to flight delay and arrived close to midnight . The beds were exceptional comfortable for a university dorm. We really appreciated the fact that we could keep our luggage after checkout in such a secure location as we had a late flight home.
The lack of electrical outlets.
