My phone didn’t work, the bed was incredibly saggy in the middle, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, we were out in the furthest room of the hotel on the floor we were on, and the staff was NOT helpful at all.
Everything!

Beautiful property and location.
Parking was limited and small.

Wauw what a beautiful hotel! Very classic. The service with storing the luggage earlier than check-in was such an enormous plus. Especially because my husband was returning the RV and I was on my own with 2 kids and all the luggage. Perfect. Also arranging a cab at the hotel to the airport was super convenient, around $65/70 dollars. The swimmingpool was nice with all clean towels, incl sauna. Water is a bit cold tough. Only thing is that it’s not thé best neighbourhood. Staff was very kind, thank you for the stay!

The cleaning staff were extremely helpful.
The bare minimum was available in relation to room amenities. Half towels for the pool. For a luxury hotel it missed out on the luxury aspect.

Location and History of the building.
Swimming pool was great.
Lack of generosity in the room (cosmetics, water).
Bar far too expensive. Old/obsolete plumbery in the bathroom. our room was too small for the price we paid.

Horrible chair to sit in how about something upholstered?
The chair

Disappointing...The queen size beds were actually way small and the bathroom stinked.

Really nice old school Grand Hotel with a great and colorful history. Loved the vibe of the past
If the bar would stay open after midnight for a drink or two….

Very elegant and clean, worth the money we paid! As a Swiftie, it’s iconic to see the location where “Delicate” MV was filmed!

People working was super nice and kind
Lots of homeless around the area, dangerous and kinda dirty.
My room wasn’t cleaned our last night and when I called twice to front desk to get at least fresh towels and coffee never got any, even though they said both times I was gonna do so.

Lots of things were unavailable, such as the hot tub and steam room.

The hotel & facilities are still in good shape.
I've stayed at the Biltmore on a few occasions & the hotel & facilities are still fabulous. Along with a change in the customer base, the hotel's policies are a lot less customer friendly. I'm going to take the Biltmore off my goto hotel list for LA. There are a lot of quality hotels in the DTLA area, who haven't lost their customer service 1st policies.

The location is relatively close to all of DTLA’s nightlife. Also the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the property.
the rooms were outdated

Good location/ lobby
Room was lacking amenities, aesthetically very poor, and not noise isolated at all.

I loved the historical magnificence of this hotel and enjoyed walking around taking in the views and photographing it all. The rooms were outdated but still beautiful, in my opinion. I would stay here again.
We had breakfast at Smeraldi. The service we received from the female waitress with long black curly hair was absolutely AWFUL. She was pissed off, making faces at us, replied to us with snarky remarks when we asked a simple question about the truffle sauce on the Biltmore Benedict. We saw her yelling in another room at what looked like the chef... and it took her 45 minutes to bring us coffee and never brought us water. 😑 I've NEVER had such a rude server in my life. The ladies sitting next to us, Were not served at all for over an hour. The waitress refused to serve them lunch, because she was told she only served breakfast. They left after 90 minutes there....

The hotels history and decor.
The shower curtain was a pain. Didn’t prevent water on floor and kept clinging to my wet body in shower. Curved shower rods could help with larger curtain.

The staff were friendly and attentive.
The doorman was helpful with directions.
Smooth check in and check out.
The whole place has an overall feel of nostalgia and history. We thought it was lovely.
The obvious main attraction here is the movie history, so I think it would be nice to have at least one of the ballrooms open for paying guests to access.
