My stay was great. Small and comfortable.

There is a lake next to the hotel. It is very pretty and a great walk. The walk around the lake is 1 mile.

The furniture on the deck needs to be plastic so you can wipe it off after the rain. In addition, the plants need to be kept up.

Very pleasant for a downtown location.

Position near Lake Eola. Tea and coffee always available. Quiet. Good nearby restaurants.

Room was bare and basic. Not a good entrance area.

Location immediately next to Eola Park (great for walking; huge number and variety of water birds!) friendly staff, nice if not elegant little breakfast each morning, K-cup coffee always available.

It looks a little careworn, but this is a relatively minor concern. Clean is more important; and it was clean.

The balcony and patio were beautiful. Comfortable bed. Best smelling soap! Complimentary beverages. Staff very polite.

I requested early check in, in advance, and was told it was no problem. Still had to wait hours for the room. The coffee maker in the room - which I used to make tea - had coffee grounds all over, inside and out. The room was kind of dim, which I'm sure is why the cleaners didn't notice. I didn't either until my tea came out with coffee grounds in it! Shower gel dispenser was empty.

Great location and comfy stay.

Friendly staff. Helpful. Clean room, nice bathroom facilities. Comfy bed. Good options for cooling. Enjoyed the small private veranda off of our room. Felt safe in busy, vital downtown location. Great to be downtown so we could walk to many locals.

One morning, strong smell of marijuana in lobby. Nice outdoor lounge seating on 2nd floor but was too wet to sit on, though I tried to adjust things. Our door was difficult to open and close needing major adjustment.

The place got the job done and was a decent place to stay. However, they violated my rights and I will never stay there

I loved the location. It was perfect for my stay and had everything I needed.

I did not like paying a fee for having my service animal. I have proper documentation and needs to travel with my animal. According to the ADA, if a business requires a deposit or fee to be paid by patrons with pets, it must waive the charge for service animals. The hotel disregarded my rights and I will not stay there again because of that.

disappointed, pissed off & unprofessional

one time when I went back to my room the balcony door was open and all the locks were undone and the shade on the door was messed up as if someone ran out the room before I walked in. Also you can hear EVERYONE & EVERYTHING as the walls are very thin. Aside from that, it was only 1 night so it was fine but I DO NOT recommend this place if you want a NICE, SAFE & RELAXING stay and I will never stay there again being that someone was clearly in my room which I am assuming was a worker and I had the room decorated for a surprise so I would never leave anything of value or anything in the room if people are going to just be in my room when I’m not there and who knows what they would have done or taken if I didn’t get there in time. I believe it was much better at some point, but as of now this is no longer a recommended hotel in my opinion.

Noisey and dismissive staff

Cleaning staff extremely rude. began cleaning rooms across from us and hallway before 8am, noise level was unacceptable. When I asked them to please keep voices down they had a stare-off with me and were dismissive. Not at all apologetic. Not to mention the night before we barely slept because room beside us had their t.v. volume turned up until 4:30am. Other than the price I would never stay here again.

Excellent!

Everything was great! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, too bad it was too short. Great location, nice breakfast options, free parking, the room was spotless.

If I had one complain, I would have liked to have some couch or at least a couple of chairs in the room as there was nowhere to sit but the bed. There were chairs in the balcony though but not inside the room.

Great Stay Great Location.

Our room was great with a balcony and an incredible bathroom. Location was really great too just on the edge of Lake Eola with bars & restaurants all within walking distance. Staff at reception were lovely & really helpful. Will definitely be back.

The staff was great from the moment we walked in til the moment we left. The room was a room with a comfortable bed, but the balcony and amenities, mini-fridge, Keurig,, etc pushed it over the edge.

Nothing really. Small things that are easily fixed, the staff was attentive about the little things too.

Had to leave to another hotel at midnight due to an unbearable odor

There was a strong cleaning product odor in the bedroom at check-in time, about 3:00 PM, it smelled like Fabuloso desinfectant. I opened the windows and left the property. When I returned, about 10 PM, the odor was still there. I kept the window open and tried to sleep. The odor was so strong that I start feeling a headache. I went dowstairs and asked to change the room, but the recepcionist said they dodn't have another one available. I eneded up leaving the hotel abpout midnight to sleep at another one 15 miles away. Booking.com didn't help either.

It’s smalll but is definitely not crowded; and that’s not a bad thing.

Parking is well lit, there is a good brewery in the same building on the opposite side of the hotel entrance, and the location is very central. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is quite small and so is the parking lot but all seems to be adequate.

Still would stay there again but they were clearly disorganized at the front desk

Fabulous location and very cool vibe.

We did not get the balcony room we booked. Staff gave our room to someone else Not a great feeling waslking into a room with someone else's belongings on the bed. They were apologetic but offered no compensation for putting usin a standard room
