Great room, super spacious
The main reason we booked this hotel was the indoor pool. When we arrived my kids wanted to get in the pool but it was shut down for some reason🤷🏻‍♂️ We were all very disappointed since this was the main reason why we spent $400 to stay here for two nights. Wish we would have known before we spent that much money.

Everything! Mostly the lady at the front desk SIA! She was so sweet and so helpful! She showed us such hospitality! We were traveling with our baby and didn’t realize our room can with out a microwave. We have to warm our baby’s formula for her to eat it. Sia took it upon herself to find us an extra microwave so we wouldn’t have to leave our room during the night! This meant so much to my family that she would care enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be staying again when we are in the area. Also the pool was nice and warm! It was a cold windy weekend so having a warm pool was a plus!
Nothing!

Location, location, location.......if you're headed through Tulsa then this is a great location for your stay. Easy access's from the highway and Tulsa's restaurants and activities aren't far from your beginning location.
Be mindful you are going to walk into a "Ghost Hotel"
The open spacious interior has only become void of any warmth from Staff, accommodations and void of business and advantage services.
You have to wonder why Marriott even keeps it in their portfolio other than it's location advantage.
If you don't book with a discount then you're not going to get your money's worth.
I will no longer recommend this Marriott location to my Colleagues or you for your future Hotel accommodations in Tulsa.
This isn't about one visit.
It's a review of the lack of improvement I've experienced over the multiple stays over the last year and a half having stayed at this specific location either for business or personally.
Covid was once an excuse but if I'm correct the current GM should be celebrating his Annual tenure or close around?
I personally don't see why everyone was so excited about his promotion back when we began to stay at Southern Hills.
In the time I've seen the good Staff and Mgmt. Speak of their efforts to bring more smiles and a positive vibe I was told during my arrival that the Hotel has now pretty much had a 100% turnover in staff that quickly reflected by my accommodations.
How ironic after such a dramatic number of turnover that the one individual who has a public history amongst patrons for accosting and belittling her staff openly in front of Hotel patrons is still standing?
Check I'm, check out and expect the same attitude from the lowest priced hotels you've ever stayed at by price.....their the same in this case.
I understand that there was a cold front through the Midwest at the time of our arrival. Have you ever tried to move a space heater in a garage ij the winter and try to heat it up?
You may have heat but it's going to take time to warm up the interior items before it holds temperature.
Our room didn't hear up until. 3:35am. So we could sleep.
When addresses at the front desk I was told that it was my problem for not telling anyone?
So was it my problem that I had to unload my car the evening before while the bellman styod inside watching us trying to move as quickly as possible to keep from freezing?

The breakfast buffet was excellent and I really enjoyed all the options that were available.
They only had the full service breakfast one day of my stay which was Friday morning. The rest of my stay through the weekend and Monday morning they only offered a juice and coffee bar plus a cereal and biscuit bar.
