Breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel in quite awhile.

Very dirty, floors not vacuumed, tables and mirrors dirty, crud on the refrigerator shelves. Could be a decent hotel if they addressed their housekeeping issues.

The breakfast selection was ok.

Room wasn't cleaned. There was dust everywhere, wrappers and goldfish crackers from the previous family. The pool had hair floating all over it. Our room didn't have a remote, I asked 2 different front desk attendants if we could get one and one said sorry he can't help me and the other said she would try to find one. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't get a remote at all. There was large groups of people hanging out drinking and partying In the lobby and side entrances until 1am both nights who were super loud. Staff was very suspect. I was really hoping for a better experience based on ratings and reviews.

The location was conducive to our needs. The carpeting was all fairly new and halls were seemingly clean.

The dark colored tables in the first room were all smudged with fingerprints and water rings from beverages. The mattresses seemed old and lumpy but were sufficient. When the bathtub didn’t drain I reported it to the front desk…. when it did drain it then backed up other sewage into it. I felt then that was too unsanitary and unacceptable and requested a different room ( could not find a different hotel to stay at or I’d have abandoned that property) and they accommodated me with a room on the second floor. I really feel they should’ve refunded my money and comped me the room for the second night. However it didn’t ruin our stay but it was certainly disgusting and disappointing to have a tub with raw sewage backed into.

It’s in a convenient location has a pool and hot tub and the price is reasonable.

I’ve been staying at this property for cedar point for a few years now. I’ve gradually seen it get worse over time. This hotel needs to be better taken care of. The pool and hot tub were dirty (cloudy pool and the hot tub water was a brownish color). The pool was also very cold. I’ve always looked forward to this hotels heated pool so that was very unfortunate. There was, what looked like, blood stains on our carpet and our bathroom had 1 light that didn’t work and 1 light that didn’t have a fixture. The side door security wasn’t working. You didn’t need a room key to enter through it which is unsafe.
