Great location, Breakfast was Ok, Our TV was broken

We did like the location. Wasn't too close to the Riverwalk, and wasn't too far. We were only 15 mins from the Riverwalk.

1. Due to my wife's chronic migraines, I asked to be placed on a high floor away from the elevators.. We were placed directly in front on the busy elevator. 2. Our TV wouldn't stay on. Every 15 mins or so the TV would just turn off by itself. There wasn't any timer set, nor was in it energy saving mode. It was very annoying for 3 days! 3. The room smelled like roach spray or some kind of cleaning product the whole time. It was nauseating at times. 4.Breakfast could use some variety, maybe even simplicity. We were there 3 days, and were served sausage all 3 days. Every morning pounds of sausage went to waste. Most of the customers were complaining about the round sausage. The hotel should stick with Bacon and the Sausage sticks. Some simple scrambled eggs would be nice. Once again, all 3 days had some kind of unusual egg preparation. The one day there were scrambled eggs, was the day the eggs also had chunks of potatoes mixed in..my wife is allergic to potatoes so she couldn't eat the eggs. A simple plate of scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes goes a long way with starting the day off right.

Excellent hotel overall

We just spent five nights here. We had an upper floor 2-room suite, which was great for a longer stay, since it was a true suite--a separate bedroom with closing door. Room overall was very large, bed was comfortable, and it had fridge and microwave--basically a 1-bedroom apartment (no dishes/silverware/cooking equipment though). Floors were quite solid, so no disturbing guests above or below. Hotel has a good breakfast: eggs/biscuits/potatoes, five waffle makers (though I'm not a fan of the waffles), cereal, yogurts, fruits. Coffee wasn't the greatest but adequate. Good workout room with several machines. Staff were very friendly and helpful--we had a broken hair dryer that they replaced right away. Overall this seems like a well-run establishment; I'd recommend it highly.

Very few issues, although the Internet WiFi was a bit maddening--it requires a re-connect/agreement at least once a day, and caused hangups on my laptop several times until it finally reconnected.

Personal muy poco amable. Me cobraron 1 dolar más como depósito "segun ellos", el dolar no importa, es el hecho que probablemente a cada cliente le sacan 1 dolar demás si no estás atento con la cuenta. Es un hotel para dormir 1 noche e irse rapidamente.

Great stay!!!!

Location was easy to get to, staff very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was really great, bed very comfortable, decor in the lobby was vibrant and welcoming. Saw a wonderful sunset as we were settling in. Great value!

There was nothing we didn't like.

The worst experience ever.

The rooms are outdated. The bathroom had a really old hospital shower and the two females who checked me in knew I had three small children. I was unable to shower them during our stay.

The property is exceptionally clean and the breakfast is great

The mattress had a dip in the middle and was not comfortable. We always stay at this hotel and we have never had this discomfort before

I appreciate the value of this hotel and will be sure to stay at La Quinta again.

I really enjoyed the amenities in the room and the breakfast waffles.

The bathtub was not as clean as I would like and we only had shampoo no conditioner. Also the cereal with breakfast was stale and the milk options were very limited.

So bad management gave us one night free but no excuse for poor housekeeping; just nasty.

Light levels were good in the room.

Bathroom was filthy with black mold in corners of room & tub. Phone did not work as message light always on, no housekeeping for room & had to ask for new towels & trash removal. Snacks expensive.

Housekeeping needs to do a better job

Very nice staff , great location..

Housekeeping needs to do a better job making sure they clean the showers properly. The shower was clogged, so I unclogged it myself and come to find out it was full of poop 🤢

Great accommodations for a fair price.

Breakfast was delicious and ready when we woke up. Staff was friendly and courteous. Eating area is comfortable and accommodating.

Dirty hotel , sneaky evening staff

Comfortable bed but could not breathe due to thick dust under bed. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay.

They kept my $25 deposit with no acceptable reason. Even with a promise on Friday morning from the desk manager that the $25 deposit hold would be released. I have the desk manager's promise on audio recording. I simply asked Sabrina at check-in on Thursday evening what the price was and she quoted a higher price than what I could get with my Genius level 3. She actually took a $25 deposit without my permission or telling me, then argued with me about it that I heard her when she told me. I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TELL YOU WHAT I HAVE HEARD AND WHAT I HAVE NOT. It became extremely obvious that she was trying to quickly, "sneakily" run my card instead of letting me use my option for Booking. com.. At breakfast I heard another woman complaining to her daughter that Sabrina had tried to run her card though she had already prepaid. I said nothing but just remembered. The moment I left the desk after check-in, I could not breathe in the hallways, or in the elevator. The room was dusty smelling from dust under the bed and musty from a dirty air conditioner. I took video under the bed, terrible dust. Plastic food wrappers, food scraps, feathers... Once in the room, the coffee maker malfunctioned. There was a live cockroach scurrying from under the coffee maker. I got video of it. I killed the cockroach with a napkin.. I could not sleep well because I could not breathe.usty and dusty. Bathroom is from the 1990's. Moldy, musty, no "fart fan." I expect that at cheap hotels. Not at La Quinta. I took an entry video of the hotel room. I also took an exit video of the hotel room so there is absolutely no reason for that hotel to keep my deposit. They've had plenty of time to release it if they were going to. I will not stay here again. I prefer the La Quinta at the Airport over all 4 different La Quinta Inns that I've stayed at in San Antonio. I've made friends with their wonderful staff over the years.

Breakfast was good.

Charged twice for a one day stay. Would not refund money. Was told they didn't see two charges. My bank said one charge on day of checkout. Second charge next day at 4:03 am. Never stay again.

We were held back from registering for about an hour...rooms were not ready. This was a bit of an inconvenience for us...held us back on our schedule. Hope next time we don't have to wait.
