Superb

It was a great location! Clean facilities. Pool open later than most hotels.

There was a dirty sock in my room. When I told the front desk. They half-heartedly apologized but didn't offer a room discount or anything.

couldn’t check in.

it was a convenient location.

i was not able to check in because no one was at the front desk. i called out a few times. after about 8 minutes, I left and made other arrangements. i was very tired and did not want to drive at night.

worst hotel experience of my life!

This was literally the worst hotel stay, of my entire life. And we travel all over the United States. First, I was over charged. Then when we got inside the room, it was filthy. The floors had old food, scattered all over the carpet. Other people’s medicine containers were laying around. There was pubic hair jacuzzi tub. The bathroom floor was cracked and cut my foot. There was food smeared inside the refrigerator. And more… Then when we asked about the fitness center, we were told they didn’t have one any longer. So we inquired about the arcades. To which we were also told, that they do not have that any longer, either, and they just haven’t updated any sites or information on that. Even though we asked about these things, before even staying. It was so loud during the night, and come to find out, there is no staff at this hotel at all, during the night. This whole huge hotel, with so many people, and not one single staff member on duty. I was astonished! Then comes breakfast…no hot breakfast, like we were told there was going to be. The fruit was so hard, you couldn’t even peel it. The juice machine was completely out. There was no coffee made, at all. There was an old keurig put in the main lobby, that was dirty and dusty, for guests to use. But you had to take care of it, if you dared try to use it. The whole downstairs, lobby, breakfast area etc, was freezing cold. Every guest we spoke too, was so upset. When it came time to check out, the staff wanted me to leave, without even settling any of these issues AND without knowing what I was going to be charged for this horrible event. I still haven’t heard from anyone. Still don’t know what’s going on and if I’m even going to be compensated or have anything resolved. My child was so devastated from this hotel stay. This was supposed to be an exciting part of her competition experience, and it was the absolute worst!

Poor

When checking out charged more then the amount quoted from booking.com. They had three different birthday party's there during our stay they ran around like a hard of elephant's one group was still running halls at midnight. No one at desk after eleven pm. The pool temperature was not what they said its was we brought our own thermomotor. Didn't have ajoining rooms.

Wish the beds were more comfortable. Definitely could be updated with newer, more comfortable bedding

The staff was friendly and responsive to our concerns.

This hotel has not been kept up! The mattresses are probably 20 years old or more...The tv is the smallest screen I have seen in a hotel room and the toilet seat had a big crack in it...GROSS

Superb

It was nice and quite. We traveled to visit River falls College and it was great location. We had to wait for someone to check us in but I believe only one person was working and he apologized he was cleaning the party room.

Love this place, always available for a great stay!! Enjoy the location and close food choices.

Need to have plastic silverware in the rooms and a few more bottles of shampoo/conditioner for those of us who forgot!😊

Better than we expected for a small town hotel.

Location was very convenient and easy to find, comfy bed and pillows, clean room!

Breakfast was sub-par options, even considering it’s a continental breakfast.

Excellent place for the price.

Very nice place for the price. The staff was super nice and friendly, as well as helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice sized compared to some hotels. You had a nice choice to pick from for breakfast, and the place was very very very clean.

The pool and spa and the central location. The staff did a nice job of refilling and cleaning up breakfast items.

Furniture is dated. The staff did not inform us that we needed to put out a “service requested” sign in order for our room to be cleaned. We found the sign on top of the closet at the end of our stay.

Hotel met my expectations for a modest hotel.

The hotel was very close to my destination. It was a modest hotel but it was very good for what it offered. There was an indoor pool. Next time I will bring a swimsuit.

Temperature control in the room was not the best, however it was adequate.

I’ll be back

My friend was coming to town (St Paul, Minnesota) and I wanted to get us a hotel for the weekend and I saw Country Inn, the reason I booked it was because it didn’t look like a busy area, we both don’t like the busy cities. And it wasn’t too far for us to drive and we wanted to see a new area. My first impression when we got there was the receptionist was super nice. The hotel was clean and it’s a cute/happy vibe. We drove to Hudson to go to Walmart, Target and restaurants so we didn’t have to drive far. The receptionist when we checked out was really friendly as well. We both now want to move to River Falls. Main Street also has some cute shops. McDonalds was across the street from the hotel if you really needed some food. Kind of wish there was a microwave in the room but that’s okay. We can and did survive without it. The Hot Tub was great, the jets need a little tune up though. I was expecting the pool to be cold when I got in after being in the hot tub but it was really warm. I don’t have any complaints that would have made my stay better. 10/10 for sure. :)

Decent Place to Stay

We enjoyed that it was close to the location of our activities. It was a decent price.

The cleanliness level was a little off. The floors were dirty. The pool area had no towels. Overall was a little dingy and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Disappointing

The entrance was nice and the pool area was ok. It was nice that I could bring my dog.

Our room felt damp the entire time for some reason. The drawers were dirty and we cleaned them ourselves. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was bad and the toaster barely worked. There was also no information about logging into the WiFi in the room. All around not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but, I will not be back.

The manager was awesome and she worked with me when I had questions about my bill.

The fact that i almost had to park in the road as a paying customer. But luckily I didn't.
