We had a peaceful and beautiful stay here.

we loved the location we loved the grounds and views we loved the convenience of the kitchenette

the only complaint is the bed as it was extremely uncomfortable and sunk in the middle so perhaps an old mattress.

We enjoyed ourselves.

Location is great access to trails and comfortable atmosphere with glass wood stove.

No personal contact. Could have been cleaner: cooking stove needed cleaning, wood stove was full of ashes, shampoo dispenser empty. Luckily all we were able to take care of.

I made it work but i wont be returning

The location is fine. thats why i booked it.

Had no idea what room was booked, had to call the day before. Room was next door to one i booked last year but completely different. No kitchen, i brought food to cook. They changed the TV so all i could watch is movies essentially. No local channels, news, or weather whatsoever. No person to person contact at all. Feel like I'm a lepper. So little sell service had to wifi call and sometimes that didn't work either. Snowed one night. i could tell without looking outside because the snow drift under the front door extended a half a foot into the room.

wonderful quiet well maintained getaway cabin for such a great price.

quiet clean comfortable and well maintained. the staff is so nice , communicative and helpful. the cabins are clean and well appointed. the property is such a great quiet location for a chill getaway. I will continue to come back as my favorite getaway location.

Very nice log cabin..no other travelers. Close to town

Not clean. Wasn't told there was a boil water order. Stove and refrigerator wasn't very big.

Exceptional

location quiet rustic no one bothering us. a complete getaway exactly what I wanted.

only complaint is the Wi-Fi never worked after repeated communication with the property manager. he was friendly and tried multiple times to fix the issue and communicated with me but it was never fixed and we were never able to use internet for tv at night.

Taylor provided exceptional customer service. Very responsive.

Poor internet service. Very low band width or no service during the entire visit. This also affected TV service because the facility did not have standard cable or satellite service.

The cabin was very nice and so wasn’t the facility workers. Just very small, middle of nowhere town.

secluded, big space with good appliances, has a smart tv to watch online streaming

kind of a middle of no where town so it was hard to shop for things we forgot to bring

A lot of money, especially in Jackman area, for a place not ready for our arrival.

We liked the location and that we had our own cabin.

Upon arrival we spent an hour removing all the living and dead flies and ladybugs, and we didn't even clean upstairs. Seriously there were hundreds and we threw 5 dustpans out the door. We realize the area and abundance this time of year of flies, however if someone just came in the same day we arrived the bugs couldn't have been vacuumed and cleaned out. After we cleaned up by opening all the windows and sweeping all the dead ones we only saw a few the rest of our stay. If there were more of us we would have had to clean upstairs too! The windows that look out over the field on the side the sun rises were streaked with dirt and hard to see through, the dew compounding the issue. There was a big brown stain on the edge of the bedspread which we didn't find until the next day, kind of grossed us out.

Awesome get away

Amazing lodge, tons to look at, very cozy. Rooms were rustic, nice break from the media-spoiled life and into the boonies:) Staff was great, friendly, non-invasive.

The guy at the desk tried to charge me again for the room we already paid for so that's the only thing I can say to watch out for. Probably not used to many online bookings in Jackman, Maine. No AC, tho I get it is a lodge, but also no way to cool down with the pool closed as well. Next time I will go when the rooms do not need to be temp regulated in the summer.

Beautiful lodge, open and airy, picturesque. It inspired us to consider a family reunion here in the future, perfect for multiple families of all ages.

Had a great stay, we liked the privacy, peace and quite.

We were able to upgrade our room for this stay, excellent!

The hotel is aging and requires attention and repairs. It had uneven floors and building settling. Unfortunately because of covid staffing was low. Not just at this location but at all the local businesses in town.
