Spacious and updated rooms with a great view!

Great location! Such a beautiful view of the bay! The rooms are nicely redone and SO spacious!! We took advantage of the bike and kayaks while we were here. If we are in the UP again we will definitely look forward to another stay here.

Nice for a short stay.

The location was fine. You could tell that they had updated certain things but then other things were falling apart. The staff was friendly enough, but not overly friendly.

The pool area was very interesting. We were just staying one night as we were passing through but I wouldn’t have stayed for more than a couple of nights. We ate at the restaurant on site. It was a nice atmosphere but the food was incredibly expensive and we were pretty disappointed with the quality of the food for $160 to feed 2 adults and 3 kids under 10.

Beautiful water views, excellent food at restaurant on site

Just a suggestion, would vacuum up water bugs and clean restaurant windows with those great views daily before restaurant opens

Little gem

Rooms are remodeled and updated. The pool area is in rough shape but has a great view of the lake. Onsite restaurant and coffeeshop are great amenities.

Overall upkeep of facilities could be improved. There is construction going on in another area of hotel...maybe the pool area is next?

Way too expensive but if they fix their glitches they could be excellent

Newly updated. Super cool looking.

Tub wouldn’t fill because of broken hardware. And water was lukewarm and never got hot. Texted customer service about a stopper and they couldn’t help. Didn’t ask why stopper wouldn’t work. Just apathetic.

Other than the lake flies the hotel was nice and the restaurant had amazing food.

The room was beautiful and comfortable.

Couldn't use the patio as it was covered in lake flies. Lake flies got into our room when we would open and close the door to the patio.

Nice pool, excellent freshwater tavern restaurant, and liked hardwood floors instead of carpet. Beautiful pictures of water on walls.

Lights on balcony were very bright and unable to turn off. Lights in pool very dark.

Good & bad truth

The newly renovated rooms were beautiful. The view on the lake side was amazing & relaxing.

The pool & jacuzzi area was extremely disappointing. It was in such bad shape and in desperate need of repairs. My sister & I tripped on the flooring that was coming up. There was no outdoor seating other than the balcony or patio off your room.

Food and drinks. Staff.

Food and drinks were good but very expensive. Room 208 was way below par. Entrance door had huge gaps in between the door and frame so big you can look through it. Patio door wouldn't lock. No microwave in room. Fridge was dirty. Seal on shower door wad bad. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Poor parking area. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Location is great!

The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable. Also you can hear everything in rooms near you so it did. Not feel like we had privacy. The rooms were very sharp however the beds were very uncomfortable so do not recommend only because of that.

Room size and feel was very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Location was close to train tracks but didnt get bithered by trains passing by at all from inside my room

Expensive but great view

The view from room was spectacular. The updated suite was large. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant on site.

Balcony needed maintenance. Bright lights shined in rooms. We could hear other people's conversations from adjoining room.

Grab a coffee and find another hotel

The facility was more set up as a drive thru coffee operation and the check in was all about pushing the coffee operation versus hotel. Overpriced fancy menu in restaurant no normal food . 1 comfortable chair that was broken down should had been thrown out. Parking was a ridiculous set up for guest plus no convenient ways to room. I will not recommend staying here!

Beautiful location. We had to leave too early t I have breakfast… but dinner the previous nite was wonderful.

Room 205 had a lousy carpet which I did not was clean. The whole unit needed to be brightened up and freshly painted. Furniture was very so-so.
