We loved everything about Relais Donna Lucrezia. Nelson made us feel at home and it felt very private. Quite different to any other hotels that we have stayed at. The breakfast, cooked and baked by Nelson, was simply superb.

Our stay was more than comfortable- the rooms beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, spacious. The breakfast and snacks provided were plentiful and delicious. It was easy to walk to the centre, while being in a quiet neighbourhood.

The room was gorgeous! Very clean and spacious with lots of room. The bed was ginormous and so comfy!! The staff were friendly and accomodating - welcomed on check-in and helped book us a transfer to the airport for an early morning flight, which was punctual and on time. Great breakfast spread. There were also lots of other nice touches too - like biscuits and sweets available for guests to help themselves to whenever. We also liked the location - close enough to walk to the main spots and not noisy at night. We would stay again.

It was so clean and the rooms were lovely. The free snacks and drinks were a very nice extra. Very comfortable stay. Great facilities, lovely breakfast and would highly recommend.

Small property but very well managed. Host was nice and ensured we know our whereabouts, timely arrangement of breakfast. Best part of the hotel were the room- clean, fresh and well furnished. Second was the breakfast. Tasty , healthy and good variety. Location- away from noise but close enough for walk to attraction. Overall much better than branded hotels.

it was clean, safe and well located…good value for money in central Rome. The host was really pleasant and helpful from my arrival to my departure. He helped me out with my luggage. The breakfast was over the top amazing!

A really lovely little boutique hotel. Friendly helpful staff, beautifully clean and comfortable. I realised whilst there I had left my wedding rings at our previous hotel in Florence and they were amazingly helpful in organising a courier to collect them for me. A great stay in a good location :)

This family is on the NEXT LEVEL of hospitality. They offered a driving service to pick up at the airport. It was cheaper then hiring out on your own. Well worth it when you've been flying all day. Once I arrived at Relais Donna Lucrezia I was greeted out front, helped with my bags (there is a small elevator) and had a refreshment placed in my hands as I was shown around this beautiful establishment. I booked my room almost a year before and It was the room from the pictures. Very spacious with a terrace and large bathroom/shower with HOT WATER the entire time. There is a small safe in the room for your convenience. Great WIFI and A/C. There is a Nespresso, and tea machine in the room along with a small stocked refrigerator. There is also an area in the dining room that has round the clock self service tea, coffee, flavor lemon water, pastries, cookies, and small cakes. Every morning there is a large breakfast served from 8 to 10. Most of it is sourced from their farm out in the country. True farm to table, and for the 8 days I was there I made sure to experience all the delicious items that they offered. If you dont care for a hot breakfast there is also the usual cereal, fresh breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits and yoghurt. One of the highlights of the morning breakfast is a video that plays in the dining room. The short films are of the family farm and 2 family weddings. After watching all of them you get a bigger picture of whats going on and how special Relais Donna Lucrezia and the family truly are. They offer tours out to their farm and I have booked for next week. I am a solo traveler and felt very safe at this hotel. The area is nice with many things near buy. I walked everywhere morning, noon and night. I've been to Rome many times and stayed all over.... this is by far one of my top favorites and would recommend to my friends and family 100 percent.

It was extremely clean, lots of space in the room and bathroom, nice closet with drawers, fantastic farm to table breakfast with a lot of delicious options. The rooms are beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is king with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom has large, soft body sheet towels with exceptional quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash products. Great care has been taken for every detail. It has a small elevator, fits 2 with 1 bag of luggage each. The building is in a safe, relatively quiet area with the US embassy a few blocks away and professional businesses around it so you get a great local experience. All of the high-end hotels are in this neighborhood. This has a high-end feel without the high-end cost. It is close walking distance to taxi stations and has many great restaurants and convenience cafes within a block. It is right around the block from the Borghese Garden so you see green. Orange trees are in pots on the sidewalk.

This isn’t a dislike but just a factor…The owners work really hard to make their guests’ stay comfortable. If you need advice while staying, it’s best to catch them at breakfast or ask when you check in as there is not someone at the desk all day as there is at a hotel. It is near a few restaurants so the noise travels at night. If you are a light sleeper, don’t stay in the city of Rome because it’s a city so expect city noises or wear ear plugs.

Had stayed their before the pandemic, loved it and wanted to come back ever since. Location and breakfast are great. But prices have gone up immensely, room was simple and small (ants on the floor), price for value is not the same anymore.

Breakfast only from 8am, for travel or a business trip that's quite late and i had to leave without.
