About this cabin rental
Welcome to our newly renovated & custom-built log cabin at the foot of Elder Mountain. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga and the fast-growing Northshore. Chattanooga was home to the Iron Man in 2017 and has become an annual event space & home to of many concerts goers, river tourers, & many intellectual foodies. Enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming and much more not only in downtown but on our property too! Nestled in the little town of Lookout Valley, the cabin has its own private pond (private from public but members of our family may be there at times) and cookout area (public). We have two charcoal grills/smokers at the Cabin that are private to you and your family. Our hot tub is open year around & is right off our wrap around deck with easy house to spa access. It is especially pretty at night with the deck string lights shining on the tub! For those of you who are bringing young children, we have a kids corner that is made to feel at home. This cabin has newly purchased patio and indoor furniture and unique custom furniture built by the owner and from wood milled off the property. We can sleep anywhere from 2 to 11 and there is a large newly renovated den downstairs for games or movies. Enjoy special time with family or friends in this one-of-a-kind log cabin. Don't forget to ask about the heartwarming story behind the cabin.

Very clean, enough room for our family, close to places we wanted to go, hot tub was great, pond was clean we was able to fish.

Cabin was roomy enough for the six of us. Only had problems with oven being dirty and freezer dirty. Did self clean on oven before using. Let manager know of a few other problems when we left. Overall a good place to make your base camp. Close to activities. Beds and furniture comfortable. Pond down the road . We did not use pond as a few days being used by others and in count of rain. Hot tub great. Would bring more kitchen towels. The biggest downfall was the dogs barking in the area, It was very hot when we stayed but cabin air and fans kept it very comfortable.

Nice, clean cabin away from the city. But not far from the city. Plenty of room for all of us and comfortable beds.

The heater didnโt worked, but there were space heaters out. The place has an odor that cause my sinuses to act up. The place didnโt look clean. I have pictures to support this. The deck has a rotten place. Over all it was live able but not what we were hoping for after reading the description on the property. I wouldnโt go back to this cabin but understand why some people might. The people were nice enough when we reached out to them. Thanks
