Sarah, the hostess was extremely helpful. The house was certainly well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. There was beach equipment and a beach cart to enable a full day's pleasure and comfort on the beach. The outdoor space was comfortable,private and during the day a little sun trap. I would highly recomend this accomidation to anyone looking for a stay in Santa Cruz. 10 minute walk to the beach, pier and promenade.

Lovely host. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds and pillows, thick cozy towels. All details attended to—snacks, teas, coffee, and even fixings for s’mores in a little basket. There were Q-tips, shampoos & a first aide kit. Easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach, warf and boardwalk. 5 min drive to downtown. Easy parking in front (April). Down pillows on the couch. The owners take pride in their property. There was a washer dryer available. Will will stay there again. Thank you.

We had a quick--but great--stay. Communication was excellent, check-in was easy, walking to the boardwalk was easy (even in the not-so-great weather), and the space was perfect four our family of four. The toys/games were an added bonus!

We absolutely loved staying at this adorable apartment located near so many experiences in Santa Cruz. Sarah did a lovely job in making us feeling welcome—great coffee, snacks, and even can of local beer! We would definitely stay there again!

A cozy place to stay while spending time with family, including my two year old grandchild. Great walking neighborhood (one block to the beach, boardwalk and wharf) and large garden to enjoy.

The location of this property was perfect for the meeting of UCSC Alumni friends. The wharf, beach, Boardwalk, downtown and especially Kaiser Arena (where we took in 2 Bball games) are a short walk away. Sarah is most responsive, welcoming and there to help with any questions and concerns. She provides everything you could wish for. We will definitely come back.

We couldn’t fault this place and would definitely stay again when in Santa Cruz. The location is great for both a short walk to the beach and downtown shopping/great places to eat. They have thought of everything to make your stay as homely as possible - we found the accommodation to be perfect for our small family. Sarah and her family were so helpful - everything from restaurant recommendations to helping organise a local babysitter. Thanks so much - staying at your place has been the highlight of our trip!

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect, walkable, and the amenities perfectly suited our family with young children. The hosts added thoughtful, meaningful touches and communication was excellent. Mt daughter forgot an item and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we got it back. We hope to be back very soon!

Sarah’s place was perfection. Amazing location only a couple of blocks away from the Santa Cruz boardwalk and wharf. The guest house is located above the garage at the rear of the property. It had two nicely sized bedrooms, a full bath and kitchen. The place was pristine, cozy, and the beds were very comfortable and everything was functional and worked as intended. Sarah had left coffee, wine, chocolates and other goodies for us during our stay, which was unexpected, but very much appreciated. There’s access to an outdoor yard and fire pit which is really nice. Street parking was really easy, particularly with the permits that were provided. Sarah was very communicative and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend this quaint little guest house in Santa Cruz. Thanks again, Sarah

The home was lovely and perfect for our family. Had so much fun making s’mores in the fire pit. And love the short walk to the boardwalk through the neighborhood too. Will definitely come back again!

We stayed for two nights (07/25/22-07/27/22) at this location and it was perfect for myself, my husband and two teen girls. We went to the Boardwalk and beach both days we were in town and it was so nice to be able to walk the two blocks and not have to worry about driving. Easy directions to check in and out were provided along with lots of restaurant and activity suggestions. We were also pleasantly surprised with cupcakes and candles to celebrate my husband and daughters birthdays. Such a nice touch. We would stay here again 100% and will be recommending this space to our family and friends.

My twins (age 11) loved the desk and side table filled with books and games, and the stuffed animals on their beds made them feel at home. The adults appreciated the charming details the carriage house provided, from the antique doorknobs to cute little cubbies in the bathroom (along with a first aid kit, extra toothbrush, and sunscreen to mention a few) and beautiful landscaping in the yard. We had a lovely stay in Sarah's cottage. The cottage is very well maintained, clean and very quiet. The towels were so soft! We arrived late and had no problems checking in. Sarah provided very good instructions and her communication was great. She even left some snacks and s'more kits for us. The house is in a very nice neighborhood not too far from the center of Santa Cruz. Parking is a little tricky as it is street parking but we always found a spot not too far away. We were there when a permit is not required. During the peak season, I believe you need a permit to park on the street and Sarah provides one.

My daughter and I were happy to conclude a quite strenuous trip to California with a couple of nights in this peaceful, well-appointed, well-supplied and convenient little apartment. It was perfect for us and I highly recommend it to others.

Our stay for two nights was idyllic - the perfect place for our family. Photos don’t show how lovely the setting is. The garden is beautiful with a nice space for the rental separate from house garden- plus a very nice fire pit. I loved both the interior and exterior amenities. My kids loved to have their own room yet be connected through a central bathroom. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We felt immediately at home. I lived in Santa Cruz many years ago and I realize that the boardwalk can be a bit busy and loud, but for my family it was great to be so close without hearing it at night. In the morning we walked downtown on an easy 10 minute walk by the River. Hosts were very nice and helpful. When we return we’ll stay here again!

We had a lovely stay here, so convenient to the Boardwalk, but tucked away nicely. Surprisingly spacious, with all amenities and a fully-equipped kitchen. Great little surprises and high-quality appointments all around.....Looking forward to staying again!
