Perfect and cozy apartment in the heart of Rome

perfect location in the city centre, safe surrounding. Apartment was very clean and cozy. You can find everything that you need in this apartment both for a longer stay and a nice weekend in Rome. Host was very helpful and welcoming.

This property is perfect for a couple or small family to have a very comfortable and convenient base in Rome.

It is very well appointed, spacious, is in a beautiful old building with a verandah over looking a cobbled street. There are double glazed windows so no noise issues and a full kitchen. It is approx 4 mins walk to the Trevi Fountain in one direction and 4 minutes to the Spanish Steps in the other direction.

Perfect location!

We were met at the door shortly after arrival. We were given an overview of the features of the apartment and how things work. I did have to call for wifi information because I didn’t see it on the tv table. Location was perfect for the destinations we wanted to see. The restaurant next door was terrific, too. Cabs were easily accessible outside the door.

Coffeemaker leaked, but ultimately worked to fill the cup. Tray underneath caught the leaks which leads me to believe it’s been an ongoing problem.

6 day stay right in the centre of Rome and flat made a spacious oasis to return to

excellent central location, spacious bedroom with balcony, lounge / diner / kitchen

bathroom needs a bit of maintenance

Cute, clean apartment in unbeatable location!

the location was unbeatable! easy walk to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. convenient to the subway station. lots of shopping, food, drink, cafes, etc in the area. the apartment was clean and the sofa bed may be the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever stayed on! the hosts were amazing and allowed us to drop our bags when we arrived. they were quick to respond and very friendly. we would absolutely stay here again. great experience for our first time in Rome!

One you don't want to miss

The beds were so comfortable (even the pullout!), everything was clean, the kitchen had coffee and all necessary appliances, there was even a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival! Our family of four fit perfectly in the apartment and we loved having our espresso on the balcony each morning. The area is so close to tourist spots but yet so clean and quiet. Definitely a place I would stay again.

A few maintenance issues that needed addressing such as a leak in the shower and the bathroom door handle kept falling off. Besides those fairly minor issues, the apartment had quality construction and furnishings. All in all, not much that wasn't satisfying.

centered location, near relevant sites, very close to the metro and bus station. Apartment is equipped with all the kitchen’s base stuff: dishwasher, micro, oven, cutlery.

Happy with the place, location and the host!

First of all our big thank you to the owners for the flexibility while checking in! We arrived few hours before official check in and instead of waiting in the heat to be able to use the place, we were given the keys of the place to refresh and relax! No need to mention how central the location of the apartment is - all the attractions reachable on feet while in Rome and to get from the Train station is also just few minutes away! The place itself is big and bright, the bedroom makes you forget you are not at home - ultra cosy bed and overall relaxed flair. Oh and that romantic little balcony!

It is not really a complain, just to be aware for other travelers, sometimes we were able to smell some sort of cigarette smell in the external corridor (must be from the neighbor flat) it was not reaching the inside of the flat, but if someone is very much bothered by it and have a sensitive nose then it might be upsetting. Also to reach the elevator there are few steps, which can not be avoided, so do not bring an ultra heavy luggage with you :)

The apartment is situated very central, not far from stazione Termini, and near to metro (Barberini or Spagna) and busses. The hosts were very obliging with times of check in and check out! Everything is clean and very comfortable. In the kitchen we found coffee, salt, sugar, water, spices, ... and fresh fruit. Wifi works very well, and when we had questions, they were answered quickly. For our next visit in Rome, we will choose again Sweethome.
