We stayed with our family at Susana's lovely home in Lisbon for three weeks. This gave us plenty of time to see the wonderful sights in Lisbon, several day trips outside the city, and time to relax and visit with family members. Susana made this so easy for us with her friendly and welcoming manner. Upon arrival she gave us a tour of her spacious home and shared great suggestions on how to get around the city. Because of her recommendations, we were able to enjoy authentic Portuguese food from great restaurants located in the neighborhood. The home is lovely, well maintained, and very clean. We highly recommend House Sweet Home and our wonderful host, Susana.

Lovely apartment & warm & friendly host! Lisbon is amazing! Only negative is it can be difficult to park & it’s a very steep hill to walk up when sightseeing on foot. Overall loved it & would stay again!

Susanna was great! Place was clean! Had every thing we needed to enjoy our stay in Lisbon! Susanna even met my son at the place and allowed him to store his luggage before check in. Anything she could do to help us, she did!

We stayed in Susana’s lovely apartment for three nights with our family. We were a group of seven and the ages ranged from 12 to 70. The apartment suited us perfectly with the four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was very quiet at night and we heard no noise at all. We had an early flight into Lisbon but we got to check into the apartment early which we were very grateful for. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. We took the metro in from the airport to Picoas station and walked to the apartment. We used the metro quite a lot to get around Lisbon and the Viva Viagem card is excellent. Susana is an excellent host and we had a great time staying at her apartment and visiting the sights of Lisbon. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous apartment, very spacious and lovely and clean. Great location with everything in easy reach and not too far to travel anyway. Recommend using Uber for taxis and they are very reasonably priced and quick to respond.

Spacious, immaculate, contemporary apartment in an up and coming neighbourhood. Exquisite bathrooms and kitchens. Finishings of an extremely high standard. Fantastic hostess. Home away from home.

Susana did everything to ensure we felt at home, in a fantastic property that is close enough (walking distance) to the main attractions in Lisboa. Quiet, safe, secluded location. Mercado Municipal (farmer's market) is close by and you can find outstanding fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, meats, cheeses, and more... The house has all the amenities, appliances and utensils needed to prepare elaborate meals, which we were looking for. Thank you Susana for everything, also your recommendations for restaurants and Fado places where the locals go to! We will be back!

She reviewed the neighborhood location and made great recommendations for our stay in Lisbon. Susana made herself available before and during our visit and answered questions promptly. We loved the apartment, which was clean, modern and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. The location was within walking distance to two grocery stores, a few restaurants and shopping. Susana, Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful property! We greatly appreciate your hospitality; the custard tarts were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great stay. The property was as beautiful in person as it looked on line. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to some markets and restaurants. We walked all over the place but also had good access to public transport if we wanted. The property owner was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly before and during our trip. Definitely a five star property. Would happily stay there again.

Susana is a great host! Very accomodating. There were welcome treats on the counter which was a nice surprsie. She is very easy to contact and the place is breath taking!!

Susana was the perfect host — excellent communication, and she provided us with a warm in-person welcome, apartment tour, and city orientation. Ground-level apartment was easy to find, and the check-in process was simple. Location is also perfect — super-close to Edward VII Park and Liberdade Ave., 20 mins. walk to Old Town. Very quiet, charming neighborhood. A lovely place.

Absolutely great stay! Highly recommend!

Our three- generation family group of seven stayed in this apartment for seven nights. It was large enough to provide ample space for our group & stocked well with linens & toiletries for our extended stay. The street was quiet & the neighborhood convenient to restaurants, markets & shopping. Susana anticipated every necessity, also providing pastries upon arrival & a Christmas tree for our holiday stay. She was also responsive as needed. Would love to stay again some day.

This place was wonderful. The host was so helpful and came to check us in and welcome us to the home. It was beautifully decorated with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and it is on the first floor of the building so we did not have to drag our luggage up stairs. This is in a perfect location close to the metro and other main areas of Lisbon. I would definitely stay here again. House was beautiful and very clean. I highly recommend this rental. Perfect place to stay in Lisbon!! Can't wait to return.

Great host + super warm check-in, large spacious apartment, very clean, good location about 5-20 min walk from almost everything we ended up doing in Lisbon. Would definitely recommend it, especially great for a larger group.

Great property for us as a party of 6 - loads of room & well appointed with everything you could wish for. About 20 mins walk into the City Centre which is all part of the experience. Susana was a great host who met us when we arrived on a Saturday evening & couldn't have been more helpful - would recommend

Wonderful flat in a great part of Lisbon. Easy to get anywhere in town. Tons of great restaurants and markets within feet of the the building. The flat is clean and beautiful. Will stay again some day!

The rental was excellent and looks even better in person than in the photos. Susana was a great host that made sure we had everything we needed and helped accommodate a last minute addition for other people. highly recommend!

We had an amazing city break in Lisbon. Susanna has renovated the flat to an incredibly high standard-nothing was missing. Perfect and a great location.

Susana was a delightful host. Her apartment is absolutely beautiful and she welcomed us to our "home in Lisbon". Great location with a pleasant walk to the city center (about 25 minutes). Supermarket and restaurants close by. The only reason for the 4 stars is we had an issue with a broken floorboard in bathroom so were not able to use one of the showers. Susana was prompt with her response and apology. Highly recommend. Huge amount of space for our family of 5 with 4 large bedrooms. Would be great for 2 couples as 2 rooms have large ensuites.
