We could not gain entry to the apartment because the security system requires that guests be able to access the internet and we didn't have global roaming.
This was not mentioned on the property write-up, nor did the host tell us, or check with us, at any stage prior to our arrival. The host Paulo was arrogant, he didn't apologise, he didn't provide any alternative, he refused to meet us at the property and he hung up on me when I was politely asking him how we could sort this out together.

We were visiting Rome with our three adult children. We were scheduled to arrive early in the morning, so I asked if we could drop the bags at the room before going out for the day. He said no. After some argument, he agreed to let us drop the bags at 11 AM - for 50 euros.
Access to the main building was via an app and required a single-user code. I asked for a second code for my daughter. No. We arrived at the unit at 10 AM. I asked for the unit door code. No. We would have to wait until 11. I called him. No answer, just a "can't talk now" message.
The unit itself had few supplies, so we had to immediately buy soap, shampoo, detergent, TP, paper towels and napkins. Each room had AC, which was good because it was very warm. But the unit in one room didn’t work at all, and the others all shut off after a short time. The WiFi ID and password were not as listed. The dishwasher just beeped at us and we could not get it to work. The latch on the washer door was broken, so you had to pull off the door facing, causing the glass bubble to fall out, to release the latch. Then load your laundry, replace the glass bubble and door facing, and turn it on. Then repeat the dismantling when your load is done.
The unit is very well located in a central, walkable neighborhood, and the building itself was nice and clean. But issues with the owner (unresponsive, uncooperative, suspicious), the lack of supplies, and issues with the appliances lead me to advise you to consider another option.

We enjoyed our stay in Rome at the apartment. We were close to all of the sites we were planning on visiting. The listing is very accurate. The beds are comfortable and the showers worked well. The only issue for us was the check in process. I found getting access to the apartment to be cumbersome for us. We had difficulty with the inside lock and it took us a while to get it straightened out. Paulo was communicating with us throughout the process. It was just hot and not a great way to begin our short stay in Rome. The good news is that everything got better once we got into our Rome home. We loved the city and enjoyed our visit.

3 hours before we arrive, the owner told me we have to go to another appartment because it wasn't ready.
the appartment he gave us was not as nice or confortable, one air conditioner wasn't working and it was really hot.
we left one day before and he didn't say anything or give us money back. not happy

Excellent location for using as a base of operations for tourists in Rome. You can walk to most major attractions from here.
Downsides: The apartment itself is pretty spartan, though functional. Older furniture (especially mattresses and linens), a collection kitchen-ware you'd expect from a college student (only one knife and the handle was broken, for example), weak WIFI signal (only usable in the living room/kitcken), and struggling A/C (the loft bedroom was unusable for our summer stay due to the heat).
It was very clean and the owner/manager communicated well.
It was fine for the price.

This apartment is nicely located between Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. We were also able to walk to most tourist sights easily including the Vatican. The rooms are big and spacious.
We had some strong cleanliness concerns, especially in the bathrooms. The AC was also weak for the size of the rooms. The host was very responsive and promised the issues we experienced would be resolved for the next guests.

The beds are very comfortable, and the AC works well. The location is perfect! There are a lot of shops and good restaurants nearby. The host was wonderful, helping us order cars and walking us through check in. It worked well for the 5 of us.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Trevi apartment prior to our departure on a cruise. The location is fantastic. We were close to the major attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum
and just a couple blocks from the metro station which could get you anywhere else, so there is no need to have a vehicle. A functional cell phone is needed in order to access the locks. The owner is quick to respond if a question comes up. I would have no hesitation staying here again when we come back to visit again.

The property is in an excellent location; walkable to every sight. We even walked to the Vatican Musuem one day. I'd definitely stay here again for the convenience and comfortability. The only thing we didn't like about the property was the locking/unlocking of the multiple doors via the Nuki phone app. With 5 of us wanting to split up at different times it was a little bit of a hassle with only one of us having the app on our phone. The apartment is also in a bit of deadzone for cellular coverage. That was a bit of a hassle getting a signal outside of the apartment. We ended up adjusting for it by opening up the app prior to arrival on the street. If we are to come back to Rome again, I'd stay in the same apartment and highly recommend it. Paolo (owner) was also available via phone and Whatsapp to answer our questions and provide us with whatever information we needed.

Great last night in Rome
My family enjoyed the apartment, the location was perfect for our last stop in Rome.
It has spacious and clean bathrooms and a fun mix of classic and modern furniture. My daughters got a kick out of sleeping in the loft over the kitchen; very cool.
Communication was always fast and easy, Davide answered any questions and even arranged for a van/driver to pick us up for the airport in the morning. I would stay again when I return to Rome.
