About this condo rental
Rates from Oct 16 - Nov 15, reflect a 15% discount because of work being done to the exterior walkways on all levels of the building. There will be grinding which will most likely be noisy and might also create some dust. They will be moving from floor to floor and they can't predict what the level of noise/dust will be. The work being done during this period will not be on our floor, so access to the condo and walkways on our floor is open. Work is supposed to be from 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday, but if they get behind they will start earlier and possibly work weekends. I'm trying to set the worse case seniro so I don't end up with unhappy guest. I'm hoping the noise will not be heard from the pools and definitely not from the beach. Pelican Beach Resort is first class with its amenities. The location is right across the street from the Big Kuhuna Water park, and near many great restaurants. Pelican Beach Resort has 3 heated pools, two are strictly outdoor and one is an indoor/outdoor pool, and two hot tubs. In addition, there is a work out facility, game room, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball, covered parking, EV Chargers, umbrella and chair rentals, and a seasonal deli/restaurant/convenience store on site. Located on the 11th floor where ocean/beach views can been seen from the living room, dining room, and master bedroom, our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. The living room has a sofa sleeper. There is a washer and dryer in the condo. Management at Pelican Beach Resort has enhanced its cleaning and sanitization procedures to comply with CDC recommended guidelines. IN ADDITION, THERE MUST BE ONE PERSON OVER AGE 25 PER 3 PEOPLE UNDER, AND AT LEAST ONE HAS TO BE A PARENT TO ONE OF THE ONES UNDER AGE 25. THIS IS A RESORT RULE, AND THE OWNERS HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT. ID IS CHECKED AND SECURITY BRACLETS ARE GIVEN TO EACH GUEST. UNFORTUNATELY PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT PELICAN BEACH. SERVICE ANIMALS WILL BE ALLOWED, HOWEVER EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOGS ARE NOT. IN ORDER TO BRING A SERVICE ANIMAL YOU MUST HAVE THE SERVICE ANIMALS LICENSE, PROOF OF SHOTS AND A LETTER FROM YOUR DOCTOR TO SHOW AT CHECK-IN. IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE ANIMAL MUST BE UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES, NEVER LEFT ALONE, DOES NOT BARK IN THE CONDO, AND MUST BE ON A LEASH, AND WALK WITH THE PERSON TO WHICH IS IS ASSIGNED. Our family had the best time on our vacation to Destin! This condo was PERFECT for us! We loved the ocean view, being right on the beach, and having multiple pools! The condo was well stocked and beds were comfortable! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This condo is really nice, very clean, decorated so cute, with a beautiful view of the ocean. It appeared that the kitchen was well supplied, but we're lazy and don't cook! We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived early after our 900+ mile trip from Ohio. Gail suggested a little over a week prior to our stay that if we were to arrive early to check in with the desk to see if our room was ready. We were able to check in around 1PM Destin time which was a relief considering the LONG car ride. The condo was clean and cool and all the beds were comfortable. We all slept like logs the first night. Gail was always quick to respond if we had any questions or concerns. The condo was more than enough for our needs and that view was AMAZING. The grilling area worked well for our needs. We all enjoyed the pools on numerous days of our stay. The beach chair rental space, while inconvenient, really didn't affect our beach time. There was plenty of space behind the rental area to stage our things but there was also ample actual beach area between the chairs and the ocean for us to enjoy our days on the beach as well. Over all we 100% enjoyed out stay in Randy and Gail's condo and would like to book again when we next visit the Destin area. Thank you for allowing us to utilize your condo to create some new life long memories and to help me make my wife's dream of visiting Destin come true.

We had an amazing family trip! Finding this 2/2 condo on vrbo was perfect. It was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures!
Perfect location and close to so much. Although we didn’t venture out much to anywhere but the beach, we did walk to shops, went snorkeling just a mile up the road and found Lulu’s ( a great place to eat!) about 12 minutes down the street.
Winn-dixie is practically across the street (perfect for our family since we mostly made meals in the condo).
Gail was super friendly and helpful to answer our questions and make sure everything was great!
Would love to come back some day!

This property’s location is ideal for a family vacation with kids of all ages. We enjoyed the views, easy access to the private beach on the resort, as well as access to all of Destin’s attractions. We plan to visit again!

Our unit was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We had coffee on our balcony every morning enjoying the beautiful view! The owners of our unit was wonderful to work with while booking this unit! We will definitely book this unit again!

My husband and I loved this condo. It was beautiful and even nicer than we expected. You can tell they take good care of the condo, very clean and newly updated. Everything worked perfectly and the kitchen had everything you would ever need.
The views of the beach were perfect from the balcony and the heated pool was wonderful. Would love the rent this condo again!!

We stayed at this unit during Christmas week. The unit had everything we needed and was clean and handy for our visit to relatives in Destin. The unit would be perfect for a small family to enjoy beach activities. Great view and is handy to the beach and surrounding area. Will return when another trip to Destin is planned.

Loved this unit especially since it has a washer/dryer. Very well maintained and good view. Only down side is the beach is cramped and required to setup personal umbrellas and chairs behind rentals.

We had a really nice stay at Pelican Beach in Destin. The owner was responsive to any questions we had leading up to our arrival. The property itself was perfect for us. It had two pools, one with zero entry which was perfect for our toddler. The beach was just steps away. We made sure to reserve our chairs far in advance through the property’s beach chair service. Nearly everyone we saw on the beach had used the chair service too. And, we enjoyed the tiki hut while we were there as well. The servers even come around to the beach chairs to take orders, which was nice. The location of the unit was perfect for us being that it was only a couple units in from the elevators. We arrived the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and it appeared that weekend was probably one of the busier ones towards the end of the summer. However, come Monday everyone was clearing out and we nearly had the pools and the beach to ourselves. The pools were very clean. The check-in process was extremely easy. The condominium basically treats it like a hotel check in. So, we went to the front desk and were given the code to get into our condo. It was even ready early which we appreciated because we had been on an early morning flight to Destin. The property had a pack and play and beach toys which were really useful for our stay. The space was comfortable as well. Bring your own beach towels, but all other towels and linens are available. We enjoyed the balcony location too. While it was right above one of the pools that does stay open late into the evening, the sound wasn’t an issue for us. We greatly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony each morning and after the sunset. We will consider going back to Pelican Beach and staying at this unit again.

Family vacation...we had our own bedroom with private bath, the boys had their own beds, daughter slept on the pull out and they shared a bathroom. Nice beach, 3 pools, tiki bar. Had an issue with the ice maker but maintenance fixed it. The owners may have posted this and I missed it. Everyone needs a wristband...so me using the 3 grills to cook out for my Mom and sister's family totaling 23 was not going to happen. But coming from central IL I may not know this is just a standard in FL. Used to booking a room at the Hampton Inn and we have our friends over to swim. Again, very nice place for a family vacation.

The condo was centrally located,very clean and well equipped. Great view of the beach from the condo. Gail was a wonderful host and very prompt with communication. Highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing! The view was our favorite part! The beds were comfy and the living room furniture was too! We were there for a baseball tournament but had lots of time to play on the beach and explore the city! The location was perfect! I would book again in a heartbeat! It was our first time to Destin and we loved it!

Great spot in the center of Destin
Staff is very friendly and owners responsive. We went through and AC issue and it was fixed in less than 2 hrs. We never even knew maintenance was there. Nice condo, all the amenities, 11th floor above pool and oversee beach. Amazing time and great all around.

The pelican cafe had great food. The pools were heated and clean. I would recommend reserving beach chairs/umbrella as the beach gets very crowded, so youre guaranteed a good spot! Updates needed
The master bedroom needs a new TV that one does not work, the TV in the other bedroom is on a sidewall so unless you lay sideways on your twin bed that is a waste to have there. The light fixture out on the patio is hanging loose and needs to be fixed, the the bathroom needs updating. I used hand towels on the arm furniture of the chairs because they are really dirty and need a good scrubbing or need to be replaced, The carpet in the living room needs to be scrubbed and cleaned also.

Great value for staying right on the beach. Condo was very clean and had all the basic kitchen needs. We saw dolphins every morning and beautiful sunrises from the condo. Very good location to shops and restaurants. Would gladly return to this location.

Fun time!
Great location and view. We went off season therefore the outdoor pools were chilly. The screen doors needs to be replaced. Overall, fun experience!

Steps to the beach is what we were looking for !!! In less than 5 minutes we could be at the beach or pool. We loved the view from the condo! Great deck and amenities. Very clean and lots of little extras. Thank you for an amazing week! We would definitely recommend!
