About this condo rental
Beautifully styled flat/condo (two unit building), one block off Chestnut Street restaurants/boutiques (Starbucks, La Marais bakery, bank, cleaners etc. all within a few blocks). This is a quiet location, private entrance, bottom flat walk-up (friend owns the top flat). Enjoy a stroll for spectacular views of the Golden Gate bridge from the Marina Green or the lush park atmosphere of the Presidio (Crissy Field with beachfront/views of GGB, "Main Post" with "Off the Grid" Sundays, museum, YMCA with pool etc.) and Ft. Mason (with "Off the Grid" Friday nights, restaurants, great views) only a few blocks away. Or better yet, use the bikes in the garage and enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the Bay/Crissy Field without challenging the hills of San Francisco! Funston Park (George Moscone Recreation Center) blocks away with tennis, indoor basketball and field sports. This pristine, two level flat features 3 sunny bedrooms (1BR-king, 1BR-queen, 1BR-double)/ 2 baths (1 with tub/shower, Master BR-walk-in shower), master suite looks out to a beautiful, sunny, patio/back yard with a grill and fire pit (exclusive use of backyard) and an attached garage with parking for one car. Washer/dryer in unit. Building was recently completely remodeled with hardwood floors, high end kitchen appliances, wine cabinet, 55' flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom, HDMI connection), cable with wireless internet connection. Unit was newly furnished with designer furniture, accessories, luxury bedding etc. We have a policy of no children guests under the age of 6. With bookings of 30 days or more there is a ten percent (10%) discount. This is inclusive of taxes, the use of one standard car parking spot and the use of three bikes.

This is a beautifully decorated and spacious apartment in a very walkable part of the city, a mere 2 blocks from a lovely park (and grocery store), probably the best Vrbo experience we have ever had. Exceedingly well appointed, wonderful kitchen with everything we could possibly have needed. Having 2 BRs on the main floor and 1 garden BR on the lower floor kept it quiet and afforded privacy for a family member working remotely.
The home was immaculate and organized, and David was an excellent host; very clear and easy check-in, and he provided lots of recommendations of things to do in the area.
Most definitely will be back!

The apartment was clean and well appointed. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. The location is great. It's a few blocks to the bay and a few blocks from the shops and restaurants on Chestnut.

The property is in a great neighborhood and location close to the bay with many nearby sites.
Fort Mason, Ghirardelli, Fishermen's Wharf to name a few.

David’s place in the Marina District was everything we could’ve asked for and more. Meticulously decorated, super comfortable and impeccably clean. Fantastic location, supermarket right around the corner, and east access to all the hits. Zen garden off the master was the icing on the cake. Memories made!

A very well-appointed and stylish flat in a good part of the city. Only 15 minutes walk to the Hyde Street Cable Car Terminus, 2 minutes to Great Meadow Park and 10 minutes to Safeway. Less than an hour's drive from SFO, and well-placed for access to the Presidio, Golden Gate Park and Marin County.

David was great from beginning to end. The property was a great location, extremely clean and very safe! David gave great recommendations on food and things to do on the city. The property had everything it promised and then some. I don’t really ever leave reviews but this was one worth reviewing.

Very comfortable to come back to the condo/apt after a long day of touring the city and beyond. Great kitchen for cooking meals and the living room and diningroom were laid out to comfortably accommodate a larger group of family and/or friends. The decor is tastefully done.

Everything about this place was great. All updated and high quality. Comfortable, clean, very well stocked kitchen, just quality through and through. Loved the neighborhood too. Easy walk to Safeway. Short walk to an area with cute bars and restaurants. What VRBOs should aspire to be!

Condo and neighborhood were perfect in every way!! More than enough space for the 4 adults and 2 teens living there for a full week. Neighborhood was beautiful and we are already talking about booking our next trip soon. Communication with owner was super easy and he was very responsive. At checkin we noticed a small gas leak from the stove and the owner took care of it expeditiously and even came to the property to meet the technician just in case we were not there .

The apt was artfully appointed, with a well stocked large kitchen and a fabulous outdoor space complete with gas fireplace which was a really nice place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded immediately. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Four of us stayed here, youngest 15, for five nights in August and had a fabulous time. The property is very well located, near enough to walk to the main places to see but very quiet too.
Rooms are well decorated and comfortable- especially the beds!
Fully recommend this place, cannot fault one thing about it. Thanks to the owner for allowing guests to use this beautiful house!

The property was absolutely lovely and as described. The backyard was such a nice outdoor space. I really appreciated the parking, and even used the bikes to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very well furnished and stocked. It was a pleasure working with David. Next time we come to San Francisco, This will be top of our list. Thanks for a great stay.

My adult daughters and I met for a long weekend to explore the area, choosing this condo for its proximity to the parks , restaurants and coastline. We were attracted to the outdoor space and tasteful decor and we not disappointed. We would return in a heartbeat! Great communication with David, high end kitchen, beautiful bed and bathrooms in a quiet neighborhood. We’ll be back!!

We rented David's place during our stay in SF for the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, and we could not be happier with our stay. They location was great for the event, as it's less than a mile away from the venue, and it's also close to other popular tourist destinations like Fisherman's Wharf. Despite being close to many attractions, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We loved waking up to the fog horn and sitting in the front room as the city came to life. One note though.....there is an upstairs neighbor, and if you're sensitive to noise (people walking back and forth), it might be a little loud. However, I do have to say that all of the neighbors were extremely respectful and by 7:30....8:00ish it was very quiet.
- David, the owner, was really easy to work with and was really responsive to communications.
- There is a shared garage for one car so you can park off-street which was so great
- Kitchen - it was the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a VRBO rental
- Such a comfortable hang out space

Beautiful flat with everything you need! The host provided coffee on arrival and both bathrooms were stocked with all the necessities. Great location and walkable to restaurants and shops. The host was very accommodating.

We loved staying at this rental! Perfect location, walking distance or short drive to everything. Loved having access to a garage. The apartment was perfectly appointed and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy. Would definitely come back!

The Marina is our favorite area to stay in. And this gorgeous, fully-equipped home made our stay feel luxurious, comfortable, safe and in the best possible location to explore the various city neighborhoods and the many gorgeous and historic spots outside of San Francisco.

Very clean, very well outfitted, it was perfect for my trip to see my son. It was located in a great spot - able to walk to a ton of locations and a safe location. We used the backyard every night - would stay here again!

Our family of five (children 13, 9 and 9) stayed at David's property for 6 nights in March. David was amazing from the time we booked (he immediately made suggestions of places the kids might enjoy) until the time we left. He even texted us the first day to make sure that we had arrived safely and that the house was in order. David also allowed us to check in a few hours early as our plane from the East Coast had us arriving around lunch.
As for the house- it was immaculate! The floors, counters and everything was spotless! The kitchen is fully stocked complete with coffee- which we were so excited to see. We just ate our breakfasts in the house but you could definitely plan to cook anything you wanted because he had everything.
The bathrooms all had soap (bring your own shampoo but I assume most people already travel with that) and even the laundry closet had detergent. No detail too small!
Our children loved the outdoor fire pit (we made s'mores- the grocery store is a short 4 blocks away and has plenty of free parking!) and outdoor lemon tree.
Speaking of parking, the garage space was amazing. Yes it was small (but that's a big city!) but it was plenty large enough for the mini van we rented.
The beds were so comfortable. My husband remarked that he even missed the mattress when we returned home!
I could go on and on. This is by far the nicest VRBO rental we have stayed in. I wouldn't hesitate rebooking again and sharing this find with family and friends! Don't hesitate! A quiet street, in a big city, near restaurants with free parking.... YES!

Rented for 2 weeks. This home comes Equipped with Everything. Wish you had something, just look in the cupboards, it’s there. Worth every $. I, We had an absolutely wonderful time In this rental.

A very well appointed home. Thoughtfully put together in a perfect SFS location. A standard car fits nicely in the garage and a Safeway grocer is just down at the marina. 5 night stay we were able to tour and see everything . One of the best Verbos we ever rented.

An absolute gem in a gem of a city. I was a patient at the Stone clinic, and this home was perfect for us. Four blocks away from my Physio and the water and in the heart of great shopping, restaurants and people watching. Very quiet location. With all the perks of the city. The home itself is super comfortable. Great bedding and mattresses. Everything you need for great home cooking. I give this home my highest rating.

This was our first visit to San Francisco and we were very fortunate to stay at David's apartment. The location was perfect! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, public transportation, Ghirardelli Square, waterfront and so much more. The apartment is beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. David was a wonderful host and a pleasure to communicate with. As it was our first time visiting the area he provided us with helpful information and recommendations. This is definitely the best vacation rental we have ever had and highly recommend if your coming to San Francisco area to stay here !! You won't be disappointed !!

Wow. What a beautiful home that is beautifully and modernly decorated. Enjoyed kitchen opened to living room so you can cook and still be with group. Close to everything. Safeway is a few blocks away, the wharf is a few blocks away and close to chestnut street so you can dine and shop . Also a crunch fitness is very close.

Davids house was the perfect spot for our family during our mini vacation to the bay area. The house was exactly as described and pictured - maybe even better! The place was exceptionally clean and very well stocked upon our arrival....probably the best vacation rental weve ever had. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was exceptional (loved the Jura espresso maker), and the backyard patio was an incredibly relaxing place to unwind at the end of the evening with a glass of wine. And I havent even mentioned location. Walkable to nearly everything youd need or want - and if walking isnt your thing, there is almost no where in the city that cant be reached via a $10 Uber/Lyft ride. What a great place for our family - wish we could have stayed longer - and we cant wait to return!

We stayed in David’s apartment in early July and can honestly say we’ve never stayed anywhere nicer. It is beautifully finished and the attention to detail is second to none. The master suite is particularly beautiful with an enormous, comfortable bed and French doors opening onto the garden. It is well positioned close to the bay and within walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and buses and trams into the heart of the city can be caught from the next block. There are also some excellent restaurants on Chestnut Street – a 10 minute walk away. David was a superb host, extremely responsive throughout all our communications before our stay (I didn’t have any cause to contact him while we were staying at the apartment). I am famous within my family for being hard to please when it comes to holiday accommodation, but even if I try really hard, I can’t think of anything negative to say about this apartment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Lovely appointed Condo. Convenient bus stop a block away. Grocery store 2 blocks away. 3 push bikes to use. Large comfortable beds. Cable TV. Garage also available. BBQ and outdoor setting with fire pit. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Was a pleasure doing the rental. Would rent there again and will tell my friends.

My wife and I, and another couple, stayed here for five great nights. The condo was beautiful, and, the location could not have been better. We could walk to the Marina, Fisherman's Wharf and to the cable car. Having such a large space to spread out with friends made for a very relaxing setting and the garage was a huge bonus. The condo was very, very clean and tastefully decorated, and the owner was easily reached for restaurant ideas and anything else we needed. We would recommend it to anyone and we will be back!

Very well appointed property with everything you need. Smart and stylish, in an excellent location. Made for a very comfortable week. Owner has thought of everything (including top quality bikes), use of a garage and very nice outside space for BBQ's. Best beds of any property we have stayed in. Location close to restaurants and tourist areas. I asked all 5 of our party how many stars - and all said 5. We would definitely stay here again.

My family loved this condo! It's in a safe & quite neighborhood. The entire condo has been recently remodeled with high-end finishes so everything is new and clean with lots of storage space. The entire house has new windows which are easy to open and close, kitchen has all new appliances, living room has plenty of seating, comfortable beds, nice big TV's and we really like the outdoor space with the gas fire pit for our nightly happy hour.
Everything is within easy walking distance. (marina, grocery store, Union Street which has lots of restaurants and shopping)
Parking space in the garage is especially nice. Recommend nothing larger than an intermediate SUV or car.
Street parking is allowed in this area, so sometimes it can be hard to get in and out of the garage with a large a car or SUV.
Only draw back for this condo; especially for older people or people with bad knees, might be the stairs to the main floor and from the main floor to the master bedroom and outside patio.
David was easy to work with and gives you plenty of contact information should you have any questions or problems.

This house was so much more than I expected it to be! The pictures don't do it justice, it's gorgeous! Super clean and everything seemed brand new. The layout was perfect for our family of four. Loved the backyard space. Would definitely stay here again!
