Overall very nice accomodations and location. Did not get a chance to sign guestbook..! Plenty of room. Downstairs theatre room rocks. We enjoyed a few movies and a KC Chiefs win!

Very relaxing house and great location. We loved the movie theatre. Bring or rent dvds as this works the best for the setup. Great gathering spaces. Room very spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar View. The house is surrounded by woods and the view off the main floor deck was beautiful. We relaxed with morning coffee every day and then again in the afternoon. Rooms and beds were all comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the dog found comfortable spots to be around us all over the house and the basement pool table and theatre room were great bonuses. Convenient location to downtown Asheville and the River Arts District. The Biltmore is just a few more minutes away. Lots of birds and butterflies. We even saw a bear on the path above the property. It was an excellent vacation.

Hiked every day and dined in Asheville most nights. Sitting on the deck enjoying evening sky made the visit enjoyable. The Asheville weather in early July is a nice retreat from the hot and humid days in middle Georgia!

It was a short and scenic drive into the heart of Asheville. Very peaceful and clean for a great family trip to the mountains!

Very nice house though a bit dated. Very clean and when we had a small issue they came quickly to fix. Would recommend.

Arrived at the house at 3:55 and noticed there were still work vans at the property. The company then called me at 4:02 to let me know the house had a gas leak and we would not be able to stay there (they didn’t know that until the minute we we’re supposed to check in??). However, I get it things happen. They worked to accommodate us and found a property an hour away. They looked at that house as an upgrade, and wanted to charge us more. House was an hour away from all of our reservations- would have been an inconvenience not an upgrade. The situation was unfortunate and handled by the property managers very poorly.

We’re a family of 4, but this cabin gave us a place to come back to and spend QT together. Host was great. This is not super fancy or updated, but so we’ll distributed for a small family. Plenty of space but unified. Would come back again.

This is a wonderful house with a great view! The only negative I have to say is that I really expected better furnishing, window treatments, and kitchen supplies for the premium price we paid. We had a great time and even had a late night visit from a black bear!!

Great secluded home up in the mountains. Lots of space for the whole family. Views are awesome and the commute into town is rather quick. Would stay again!

The house is spacious and close to downtown. Communication with the management partner is very good and easy. We used the mountain pass for the Biltmore, along with booking the additional passes we needed for the day. This was a super easy process.
The house is clean, however it’s clearly a rental and is showing some wear and could use so more “homey” decor.
To truly use the media room, bring a Roku or an HDMI cord and use your computer to stream.
Maintenance Team needs to:
Check batteries of all the remotes
Check under the kitchen sink for mouse droppings.
Dishwasher bottom drawer needs wheels as they are missing.

Nice setup of rooms, great location. A guest book with instructions, directions for a variety of house items would be helpful

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The second floor has three spacious bedrooms (king, queen and twins) with two large full bathrooms. New carpet made it very quiet on the bedrooms. The lower level had a billiard room, small kitchen, TV area with couch, another full bathroom and the home theater room. We had great fun playing pool but viewing anything in the theater was problematic. I had a college age son who was able to get us streaming movies through his laptop but it took quite a while to make that happen. Bring a Roku? The theater seats are well used, one would not recline. The main floor’s kitchen, dining, living area, study and powder room were fine. I would have liked coffee for our first night. The fry pans were disgusting, otherwise the kitchen was fairly well set up. My main disappointment was that the mountain view from the back porch was almost completely obscured by a couple years of tree growth on the property. With heavy tree pruning, better information about house and home theater use and some new fry pans, this place would be fantastic. Also, the non-functional lockbox on the porch railing kept us busy for a good 1/2 hour before we realized the door has the keyed entry pad.

On paper this looks great. Excellent location, high end property with pricing to match. Maybe the fancy picture of movie room and pool table creates a false expectation. In reality it is an average property in need of some serious updating to command the asking price. Everything worked, but in a functional, 70s Motel kind of way - the whole place (inside and out) was tidy but needed a really good clean, and refresh. Cheapest possible flatware, chipped collection of plates, pots and pans well past their use by date. It didn’t help there was mouse droppings under the sink and a big pile of bird pooh on the lower back porch; the inside hard floors needed a proper scrub. For close to $1000/night you’d expect more - all the money is going to profit with no sign of reinvestment, updating. The last watch out is this is an inside property - there is no usable outside yard as such to use or even anywhere nice to walk to as it’s on a steep slope, and the back terraces are narrow (enough to sit and have a coffee or drink) but not somewhere to hang out and eat (the eating area is filthy). On the plus side, the location is good for Asheville (10 mins down the hill) or getting out and about (5 mins from the Parkway) - but for that you’d be better off finding a place half the price and at least get what you paid for.

Great view and comfortable home, but the place had an odd smell when we arrived. Stink bugs were in several of the bedrooms, and the first night we had mice crawling on the countertops. After contacting management, they dropped some mouse traps off and we helped the owners out by getting rid of two of the mice. We didn’t expect to be exterminators while on vacation.

Really Nice Stay
Property was in good shape, comfortable and spacious. We loved the semi-secluded location as we really felt like we were getting away. The media room was awesome and the whole process with Carolina was terrific. Overall we'd recommend this place to others.
The only downside (and this is NOT the property's fault) is the next door neighbor has 2 dogs who are allowed to roam around off-leash and, while nice dogs, were a bit threatening to our two puppies. It caused us to be on alert for possible issues, adjust when we did walks, etc. A slight bummer.

The house and property is not well maintained and needed a good spring cleaning. The grill was dirty and rusted out - so we could not grill at all. It smelled musty and the window sills were full of dead bugs that I had to clean to off, so I could open the windows. The dishwasher - oh was that a struggle! In order to pull out the bottom rack you had to literally lift it up ( try doing that with a full rack of dishes!) or one of the wheels popped off. All the patio furniture was covered in dirt and cobwebs - which once again I had to clean. The garage roof must have leaked because there was a constant puddle in the middle of it, which smelled had a musty smell. The porches all had to be swept and cleaned - as they were full of bugs. The paint on the walls is marked and chipped and could use touch up. The trees are overgrown in the back yard and blocks most of the view of the mountains. It just seems to me that the house is not well-cared for and it was expensive.

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as described. The home was clean and organized and had everything that we needed. The carpets were brand new and the home was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the movie room and pool table and had a great time. Thank you for having us!! The only note of consideration, the driveway and drive up the winding mountain may be challenging in bad weather, but you are in the Mountains!! We Loved it

Absolutely beautiful views
This property is nice but really could use some updates! Every mattress in the home squeaks pretty badly and the bedding could be updated. Master bath rocks! The pool table was so much fun and rocking in the rocking chairs on the back porch was so relaxing!

Views for Days
Wonderful mountain house experience. Close enough to everything but views all around of the beautiful mountains. The downstairs media room and double fireplaces were a bonus but if I could I would’ve spent all my time on the back decks taking in those views!

Beautiful, quiet mountain home. Large enough for 3 couples to not step on each other. Close to tiown
If you are looking to be away from it all but close this house fits the bill. Morning views from almost every room are inspiring. Modern conveniences... great rec room downstair. A little more attention to smaller details could make it perfect. Would recommend to friends and family.

Once upon a time and maybe in the future...
The house was ready on time, clean and in decent condition. I want to be fair in my review and I have a house at the beach on HA so I feel fairness is important. You could tell the house had needed a lot of love, was tired and was in the process of getting some care again being slowly refreshed with appliances/better furniture/plumbing/etc.... Kitchenware was adequate and needs some new frying pans. Beds were ok. TV worked well. Carpet upstairs was in need of cleaning in some areas and re-seaming in other areas. The yard was a jungle. The view off the back deck at night was nice. You won't drive back and forth to town if you've had a drink or two...windy road was part of the charm but worth the cost just to Uber. Close to the Grove Park and College street & downtown. I'm not sure how to rate this place. It's expensive for what it is. As two couples we could of stayed at the Grove Park but would of had to leave the dog at a kennel but that could of been done for the same or a little less money...wife says that's a definite next time. Lots of old and maybe a little new building materials in the garage so it was of limited use. Grill worked fine after we cleaned it out. Washer and dryer worked fine. All in all...it was ok...but I'm no sure how to rate it so I'll be kind with a 4 stars instead of a three which might of been fair as well.
