Karen was the absolute best host. She made the check in and check out process super easy, gave us excellent recommendations for food and activities in the area, and she was gracious enough to share her bug spray and umbrellas with us since we forgot ours. The house itself was amazing and had everything we needed, not to mention it’s location was central to everything. Would recommended this stay to anyone!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house exceeded all of our expectations. Very spacious and a super location. We were there with our family for Mardi gras and our hostess was amazing. She even bought us a King Cake for our arrival and gave us great local information. The beds were super comfy and well appointed. We had control over our own temperature in the house. There are some really great restaurants within walking distance. St. Charles is only 2 blocks away with access to the trolley to go into the French Quarter. I also liked that it was gated and if you have a car, will have a secure place to park. I would highly recommend!

In town for a wedding with wife, in laws, and toddler and we hit the jackpot with this apartment. 3 real bedrooms, great kitchen and common spaces. Beautiful property and area. Karen even made sure we had breakfast for the first morning and brought us some donuts the next day!

The property was as described. It is very spacious and allows for your group to spread out. We were a party of six and we had family, staying at another nearby rental property, come over for dinner and board games one night and the dining room had more than enough space. We didn’t use the living room area very much, because the owner stated that it was right above her bedroom and we didn’t want to disturb her. The bedrooms are large. Beware, its not ADA accessible and may not be a good fit for older people. There are a lot of stairs. The entrance is located on the second floor and all of the bedrooms are located on the third floor. Check-in was unusual. I had to call the owner to give her a heads up on our arrival so that she could be there with the key. I’ve only ever stayed at properties that use a numeric keypad for entry. There were two sets of keys and a gate clicker that I was terrified of losing. The owner was very nice and accommodating! Lovely person. She gave us a tour of the property upon arrival. When we had a problem with the downstairs air conditioning, they brought mini air conditioners for us to use. We didn’t get a chance to use them because we were on our way out and when we returned the main unit had started back working and the first floor was cool again. It was an overall good stay.

The location was perfect, walking distance to Magazine St and the St. Charles trolley. The property had everything we needed and more! The Manager was extremely helpful with restaurant and entertainment recommendations. We HIGHLY recommend this property to others!

We were raised in New Orleans and usually go back several times a year. This was one of the best places we have stayed over the years. Off street gated parking. Easy access to streetcar, and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Large bedrooms and living areas. And Karen was a joy to work with and offered several times to get us groceries or anything that we needed. We will certainly stay here again.

Karen was fantastic. Her home was so comfortable, clean and plenty of room. Her location was perfect. Easy walks to shopping, eating, even a fun bar or two. Trolley was 2 blocks away and cheap, the best way to get around. Even to get down to the French quarter, no need to rent a car and Karen can hook you up with great tour guide who will get you around if need be. We found the people of New Orleans so fantastic happy to have us there. Karen’s home is highly, highly recommended. It doesn’t get any better then her and her home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Karen's property. It is a beautiful historic home in an awesome neighborhood. The home was updated but still maintained its warmth and charm. Karen made everything enjoyable. She even had coffee and bagels and a few other things for us when we arrived. Very thoughtful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. St. Charles streetcar just a few blocks away.

Absolutely enjoyed out stay in NOLA. Karen the property owner met us on our arrival and gave a tour of the apartment. The trolley is only two blocks away and we were able to get tickets from the Walgreens across the street. The neighborhood was quiet with the occasional waft of music coming from other areas of the block. I would definitely come back to this property when visiting again.

Karen met us as we drove in and the apartment had lots of room for all five of us to spread out. great local restaurants all within walking distance as well

This is a beautiful house right in the Garden District, just a couple blocks from St. Charles. The place is spacious, and has lots of New Orleans character. Highly recommended.

Clean, easy location, spacious, suitable for a group of people. Karen was wonderful, helpful and available if you had questions, etc. She gets a big A+

Our stay was enhanced by our reception by the owner, Karen. She welcomed us with food in the fridge, had called me The day before our arrival asking about our preferences for breakfast, coffee, creamer, fruit, etc. Beds were very comfortable cleanliness was superior. Would definitely stay here again

The house was beautiful and very clean. KAREN was very easy to communicate with prior to arrival. However, there was no mention at all that the house was a duplex or that she lives on site. Both of these would’ve deterred us from booking. We had a great time in spite of this!

Karen's house is beautiful and incredibly spacious. We came for our son's wedding, and really appreciated having all the amenities of a real home. The location is perfect for strolling through the Garden District, and is a short walk into downtown Nola. The French Quarter is a fun trolly ride away or inexpensive Uber. Karen was a great host, always quick to respond to any questions. We'd absolutely recommend this home for a Nola vacation.

Mrs Karen and the group was absolutely amazing. They drove and got us pizza and booze to stock the house. Even saw them out partying with us! It was an absolute blessing to meet such wonderful people. They welcomed us as if we were family. House was spotless and VERY nice. Photos don’t do this house justice.

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed them all. Had a car, but probably wouldn’t next time. Easy walk to transportation and nice walk to the French Quarter (we are walkers!). The house is warm, spacious and inviting and is located in the beautiful lower Garden District. Coffee shops, antique store all within blocks. We will be back for sure!

What a lovely place we had for our trip to nola!!!! Very comfortable and homey. We had a wonderful time! The property is just as described on the web sight . It had very comfortable beds and other furniture. The balcony was lovely.

This was a really great place to stay in NOLA. Just a few blocks to street car and buses. Loved that there was a private gated place to park. Quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Karen was very helpful if we had questions.
