This guest house is in a lovely neighborhood and just a short drive to all the attractions of Santa Fe. Tina has thought of everything you might possibly need and it is there for you. The place is clean, the bed and furniture are comfortable, the kitchen has great appliances…and a nice yard for your fur friend.

March was colder, cloudier, and windier in than usual, according to the locals. The radiant floor heat in the unit did not work properly for the first three weeks, but a supplemental space heater took the chill off most mornings. The unit adjoins the hosts' home so we were able to contact them easily when necessary. We loved having a walking trail within steps of the unit, connecting to the roads in the quiet subdivision. Lovely views of the mountains! Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well-provisioned. The location is quiet and safe, slightly north of town, but an easy drive to the plaza and museums, galleries, restaurants, etc.

This lovely Santa Fe style casita was a wonderful place to stay on the outskirts of Santa Fe. My dog and I enjoyed walking the trails that wandered over the hillsides just outside the door. It was well supplied with everything I needed. It was nicely furnished and it just felt good staying there. We could even walk to shopping if we felt like taking the time to walk. The hosts went above and beyond what was expected to make our stay nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I, along with our corgi, had a wonderful month-long stay at this property. Tina and Greg were gracious hosts! They responded very quickly to any questions we had. The home was gorgeous: spotlessly clean and the decor was perfectly "Santa Fe."
We had everything we needed to be very comfortable for a month. The kitchen is awesome, with everything needed to cook as often as we wanted. The beds were comfy, the bathroom very nice, and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog.
This peaceful and quiet location was handy to wherever we wanted to go. It's just a few minutes to downtown Santa Fe and easy to access the highways to drive to Taos, the Turquoise Trail, or any of the other places we visited.
Greg and Tina were wonderful. They were there if we needed them, but otherwise we rarely saw them. There was a slight problem with a pipe under the kitchen sink. This was quickly fixed. Tina and Greg graciously sent us a gift certificate to a local restaurant for bothering us with fixing the sink!
This was a top-notch experience. I highly recommend staying here if you are fortunate enough to get to spend time in Santa Fe.

This is an amazing place, so beautiful and spotless. We spent two months here while I was in town teaching at St. John's College. Beautiful walking trails right out the back door for the dog, fenced yard, Santa Fe charm, beautiful and well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful second bedroom that I used as a study (great sunny space). We had a wonderful time, and it was so quiet. Greg and Tina are really great hosts; we had our space, and they were available when we needed something. Only thing that was difficult for us is that is a little complicated to get in and out of the neighborhood, because there is no way to get into town without getting on the highway. It is not far from town, but you definitely need to drive to get there and to plan who needs the car when. All of the positives far outweigh the minor inconvenience in location, especially the ample hiking right out your door and eight minutes drive to the best dog park on the planet (Frank Ortiz dog park). We would absolutely stay again!

When walking into Horned Toad Hollow after a six-day drive with our three dogs, our first reaction was that it felt like a retreat. It is handsome, with a high-ceilinged living room with comfortable leather sofa and chairs, a relaxing dining area and a kitchen as completely set up as we’ve ever encountered. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and we loved the bathroom and its skylight. (There’s one in the kitchen, too.) Plus, the house was so clean – and with its tile floors, easy to keep clean as well.
Greg was an extremely accommodating host. We knew he was just an email or a phone call away, but except for a few times when we met him outside in the driveway, we didn’t see him. And that goes back to the feeling of the house and yard being a retreat. It is simply lovely.
The location is perfect, too. We spent most days driving about an hour away in different directions, and no matter where we went, access to highways in all directions was an easy drive. Getting downtown or to grocery stores took about seven minutes, and it was always fun to take the drive back to the hills and quiet neighborhood overlooking the town.
We can’t recommend Horned Toad Hollow with any more enthusiasm and hope to come back someday.

This was my first HomeAway rental and it's going to be hard to beat. A beautiful, well-maintained guest house in a peaceful part of Santa Fe. It was well stocked with everything you need to feel like you're in your own home. The neighborhood is extremely safe and full of friendly people who are very welcoming. I recommend this place highly, and I hope to be back here next year.

We stayed here 3 months while looking for a home of our own. How lucky we were! Greg and Tina are welcoming, friendly, and so helpful--but never in your way. The guesthouse itself is quiet, comfortable, cozy and well equipped--including the kitchen! The two of us, and our two dogs, had everything we needed during our stay. It's well located, too: a short drive from downtown (or anywhere in the city). And, there are miles of trails to hike or run on just out your front gate with lovely views everywhere you look! If you're seeking a guesthouse in Santa Fe, just stay here!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 months while working a short term contract. Greg and Tina we're welcoming from day one and happy to help and give helpful tips about the area. Many times went out of their way to be hospitable and helpful! The guest house is cozy warm and full of character. We only wished we could have stayed longer, and hope one day in the future if we get to return to be able to stay here again!

I am in the middle of a stay in this lovely, quiet, extremely well appointed casita. It is in a very pleasant neighborhood minutes from everything Santa Fe has to offer -- my favorite pastime here is hiking, and there are trails very close by for hiking and mountain biking. But literally everything else you could want or need is close.
Greg and Tina are very nice, and Greg is instantly responsive to questions and to addressing anything you need. You could not ask for a better landlord.
I particularly love the courtyard, surrounded by a coyote fence, where my cat can safely enjoy the sunshine. The place had him at hello.
You will be very comfortable and happy here.

We spent 6 months at this lovely casita. We needed a place to stay in-between residences and felt very fortunate to have found this place. It was super clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great! - in a quiet and secluded neighborhood, but very convenient to Santa Fe's attractions, shopping and groceries.
The owners live next door and were wonderful hosts - always gracious and attentive to making our stay the most pleasant. I highly recommend this lovely casita.

I spent two very comfortable months in this casita when I first moved to Santa Fe and was looking for a home to buy. I could not have been luckier to find this place. The casita itself is spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Its location is excellent--just a few minutes to the Plaza and Santa Fe's other attractions and in a very quiet neighborhood. The owners live in an adjacent home and are super friendly and clearly committed to making each guest's stay an excellent experience. I highly recommend this property.

A charming casita on the north side of Santa Fe in a very quiet and safe neighborhood; there is very little traffic, and there are no street lights, so it's very dark and great for seeing the stars. You can actually walk into downtown (30-40 minutes). The house is fairly new, so the decor is fresh, and it's clean and nicely appointed. Favorite luxury item was the two-person, well-maintained hot tub on the patio under the portal. Also liked the Cuisinart espresso machine. Master bed was very comfy with featherbed. There is a little pathway along the steep driveway up to the road, and halfway there is a beautiful stone bench, very nice spot for meditating/whatever. The owners live on the other side of the attached garage, but no fear; they are very nice and really respected our privacy (not a given with some owners!). We were some of their first renters, so as with any new place, there were a few very minor kinks to work out, but Greg and Tina were very responsive and helpful. We were there 10 weeks and had a wonderful summer.

I spent a month in Santa Fe, and had a wonderful time. Part of the fun was where I stayed! The 'cassita' was so accessible to town- a mere 5 min. drive and it was beautifully furnished and superbly functional. I would recommend it heartily.
