Great location, close to the luas from 3 Arena, and a perfect connection to the city.
Noisy, which is fine for a 1 night stay. I was from a concert needed a place to crash without breaking the bank.

I'm happy to share that the hostel is extremely comfortable and offers a great location just a short 10-minute walk away from the Temple Bar area. The pods are an excellent and innovative solution, providing privacy and convenience with their internal light and curtains. One of the most noteworthy features of this place is the bar area, which offers a comfortable workspace and a variety of breakfast options. Additionally, you can participate in a daily pub crawl for only €14 including a pint of beer, three shots, and club entrance. Overall, it's clear that the hostel has put a lot of effort into providing a comfortable and exciting experience for its guests.
Although I enjoyed my stay in the 10-person room, an extra bathroom and shower would be more convenient to avoid waiting times. Despite this, I had no major issues and highly recommend the accommodation.

Otel çalışanları çok nazik ve yardımsever.En kısa zamanda maillerinize dönüyorlar. Tesis temiz ve güvenlikli. Tuvaletler, odalar temizdi.

All was great. Stayed many times while visiting relations in Ireland and running in the Dublin Marathon. Love the pod beds. The rooms are very well set out and beds are very comfortable. .The privacy curtains are great. The chill out area and Bar are great. All the staff are cool and so friendly.
Nothing. Wish I stayed longer but moving on to visit cousins as part of trip.

Great hostel room and the curtain to cover the bed was a nice touch. great bar downstairs and perfect location. perfect place to stay if you planning a night out in Dublin with some friends. Underneath each bed is a small locker for personal belongings and there is a usb plugin installed to the bed if you have a phone charger.

Good bar, good cafe and restaurant, clean. Beds comfortable and private. Own digital locker. Functional lift.
Showers - have to press tap every 20-30 seconds to keep water.

The location is far enough outside the popular area that you didn’t have to worry about the street being loud all night but close enough that you are well without waking distance of busy and lively areas.

The staff was lovely, professional, and friendly. The pods offer a good amount of autonomy for sleep, reading, and scrolling.
I'm a 54-year-old solo traveler, and initially, I thought staying at a hostel would feel awkward, but that was not my experience at all. There are varied ages among those staying at Jacob's Inn, and the energy was overall friendly, safe, and 100% welcoming. I stayed in a female 10 pod dorm, and everyone respected each other's space, time and needs.
The only potential issue I see would be the pods getting uncomfortable in warm weather. You can rent a small fan, but if it were very hot (which it wasn't during my stay), it would be a bit stuffy/warm in the pod.

It was pleasant and comfortable

Quite cozy capsules with the curtains. Other tourists were friendly and we managed not to interact much. Bathroom in the room was clean
The shower switcher isn’t convenient, you need to press it all the time.
When someone leaves the room early in the morning you will most probably hear it and wake up.

I have stayed in this hostel before and I was surprised at how modern and clean was, particularly being in Dublin 1. There is also a bar and lots of options for breakfast. The concept of the pods makes the experience of staying in a shared room very intimate and comfy (and I loved the fact that you can get a red light setting inside the pod).
Despite not being the hostel’s fault, my roommates were extremely noisy and kept coming in very late at night. Furthermore, the toilet was very dirty (I am aware it was cleaned by the hostel and it was immaculate at first), so perhaps I would’ve appreciated that they were checked a bit more often (although I must say that I only stayed for three nights).

Bathroom is different from picture. When I asked at the reception why was it smaller even if I booked for a deluxe room he answerd very unpolitely that that's the room

As soon as I walked it, it felt like I was at an old friends’ house! The people were amazing and friendly, the hostel itself was good and in a perfect location to do anything. The food was not a 5 star meal but it was still very good! The pods were comfortable and surprisingly peaceful, the curtains were a great barrier and the light made it look like there was a window which was a nice touch!
For a hostel, it’s a little bit expensive.

I liked everything about this place. I felt that I had good privacy due to curtains that I had for my bed, and lockers were very handy. Overall a positive experience.
They don't have a proper kitchen, they have a small one with a microwave and that's all, no dishes or cutterly.

I liked the privacy of the pods, and the rooms and bathrooms were really nice and clean. And the location of the hostel is perfect
Would've been nice if the curtains in the pod were thicker because I could see when anyone was outside, so I'm sure they could see in too.

location is excellent
I believe for a hostel is over rated in a city like Dublin that for me is an over rated destination

Organisation is very poor, I was waked at 5:30 am by personal of the Hostel, because they thought, there was someone, who is not checked in. After 15 Minutes another person has come to control smth again. On the next day I could bring my things from the Reception, they have taken them away, because they thought they were from someone, who is not checked in …

saving water is important nowadays but I could not take shower as water was switching off in a second.
