This traditional Bavarian hotel had cozy vibes. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly. It was our daughter’s 11th birthday and they set up a special table with fresh flowers and a balloon. They even brought her birthday muffins with a candle. It was so thoughtful and she was surprised.

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. Alles was uitstekend! Het hotel was rustig en schoon. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We voelden ons erg welkom en komen graag nog eens terug. Zeker een aanrader!

Very nice hotel with a fantastic view and great breakfast. Very quiet surroundings. We used it as a base for the Eagle's Nest visit and the Königsee. Comfortable room, very clean, and although slightly small, everything in it was as needed. A light bulb on a lamp I needed near the computer was out of order. They immediately fixed it. Plenty of parking and very easy access. It was a bit cold for us to use the pool, but it looks very nice, and braver people were enjoying it. The hotel has a very efficient digital system for administration (which is a good compliment in Germany where the digital systems are secure, but sometimes a bit tiresome). One night it rained, and the sound of it on the roof while sleeping was marvelous. The surroundings are fantastic, and the visit to the Eagle's Nest and the museum is a must. Such a breathtaking view, and an important lesson of a true dark period, excellently presented by the curators.
The food selection in the hotel Restaurant could be a bit wider. Especially in the evening, considering it is so nice to stay in the hotel garden after touring and trekking without the need to go out to eat (even if there are nice places not far away in the surroundings)

The outside pool area did not have towels. You need to go to the inside pool area to get towels.
