Best place to stay when visiting Safari
In my honest opinion, everything is great with Kambaku Safari Lodge. Food is excellent and exceeded my expectations, game drives are super worth it, and the guide and tracker will do their upmost to ensure you can see the big 5. And I manage to see them at least twice. Every single staff are really out to try to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. I also like the part when during brunch and dinner, one of the guides will be sitting down with everyone. It's a good way to ask them questions, learn more about the area, their experiences, what are being done to help protect the animals etc Gideon and Eric are among the best guides and tracker. Every time we spotted something, they just know how to position the vehicle to ensure you are in the best position to take pictures. Yes, you will not go wrong visiting this lodge

Best experience ever
The staff was absolutely amazing. Our tracker Erick and Ranger Giedon were the best! We saw things not just anyone would be able to see with them! The manager Lizette was wonderful and accommodating. The entire staff went above and beyond

Superb
Super nice lodge ! Good guides and trackers !
The fact that we had kids during gamedrive in our car. But it is a family orientated lodge, so we should have informed ourselves better. Next time we will ask for a gamedrive with adults only. But we will def. be back.

seriously considered canceling our next stay to stay at this location longer, but next hotel was already paid for.
oh my god this place is home away from home! Julius, Cordy, Stanly and everyone else became our family within an hour. I would stay here 10 time over and over again. the ride are so wonderful and out of this world. Julius and stanly make sure you see the animals you came to see. they drove us for hours to make sure we see the last of big five. they are so great at tracking the animals without disturbing the animals or interfering with their normal habitats. Cordy was just amazing kind and so attentive, she made sure we got the best room, placed rose pedals, wine chocolate and setup a romantic dinner/bath for our stay. also food is just delicious, like if your grandmother is cooking in the kitchen.
no AC In rooms, but it shouldn’t be a problem during winter.

It's not value for money, we paid a lot, the levies are to high.
The Location and Breakfast
this place was not value for money, paying so much yet not have a tea station in the room, no fridge, the first night dinner was braai (the meat was great), the place is ok but deffinatley not value for money. The levies are too high, R3000 Levies for 2 Nights in addition to the booking fee

It was a great escape and we enjoyed our time in the bush looking at 4 of the big five + cheetah!
The staff were great especially our game guides who were knowledgeable and personable. The breakfast was great and dinner on our first night was also excellent. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.
Our biggest disappointment was that we were under the impression that full board included our local non alcoholic drinks this turned out not to be the case. We also found the facilities to be suffering from problems related to lack of use due to COVID restrictions. We also had a continuous struggle with the hot water system that operated erratically and required the maintenance team to come in to fix it. It remained a problem and probably requires a specialist technician.

The lodge, facilities and especially the staff were unbelievable, definitely will revisit.
Breakfast/Brunch was really great with a large selection and a cooked meal as well. Dinner was also very delicious and well thought out meals. The location is stunning. The game drives are a special treat and the guides and trackers are very knowledgeable and i learnt a lot about the bush. It was an incredible holiday. All the staff were super friendly and service orientated.
All was great i liked everything.
