For one night it was not bad. I needed to be in San Jose del Cabo for a meeting the next morning. Price was good, breakfast was great. I had a view of the ocean. A nice beach bar was close by. The pool was decent. Staff is friendly.
I am not a fan of that San Jose - Cabo corridor. That’s obviously not the hotels fault. However the signage could be better to direct you to the reception or the parking. To this date I don’t know how to drive up to the reception, utterly unclear. I somehow found the parking, though also that is not clear, no signage indicates this is the Hyatt parking, I was just guessing. From the parking to get up to the lobby you need a key card, which obviously you don’t have, if you’re just checking in. Someone helped me out, but what if you arrive late at night?
Out of two elevators available only one was working. One time I had to wait a long time for the elevator.
The room provides coffee and tea, but no milk or creamer.
The faucet for the sink is set too far back, so that you have to cram your hands close to the back of the sink to wash your hands. Consequently it splashes at lot of water there.
15 min before breakfast ends (which is 9:30 during the week), about 3 people came by within minutes to take plates, or to take away a full glass of orange juice and told me breakfast would end in 10 minutes
Would I stay here for longer or for vacation? Me, personally, absolutely not. But it was good for what I needed it for.

We had to book here last minute when our flight out of Cabo got cancelled. We had 12 people between 3 families and needed central, close to airport, able to accommodate a large group of multiple rooms and wanted it to still be clean and nice. The cost was excellent, the room was clean, bed comfortable, facilities updated and nice, free breakfast as expected but a nice addition given the situation. Despite being right on the main road through San Jose and right at a construction/heavy traffic area, it was quiet and comfortable and located near many walking distance food spots.
The front desk staff were so kind and polite and helpful, actually much more so than the staff at our primary hotel where we'd spent the week of our vacation!
pool bed mattresses were a bit dirty and it soaked up through the white towels you lay on, but it was just air dust that settled from the sandy road construction nearby and unavoidable.

Location was near a shopping mall and more than one grocery store. Beach access was also right across the street from the parking entrance. Parking in the basement was nice for hot conditions. Included breakfast buffet was great with a nice selection of hot and cold items and simple bits like toast, cereal, or muffins.

Staff were friendly and helpful
The A/C didn’t work properly and the toilet seat wasn’t installed properly. Lastly, the remote had some issues.
