We had a great experience and enjoyed a high quality family time. True ski in, not so much ski out. It requires some exercise to be back to the house through snowflake trail (catwalk), but it is a great property and the lift runs a few yards from the house. We will definitely recommend it and surely will rent it again. The rental company staff is 5 stars.

Lots of "ski in ski out" really means a long trek in ski boots to and from a lift, but his house is literally on the run. Could not be more convenient at the beginning and end of the day, and for a quick lunch stop at home too. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking all of our meals and there was a generous supply of towels for bathrooms and hot tub. We've rented a number of homes in Breck and our family agreed unanimously that this was the best. We'll be back!

This is our second stay in this neighborhood and it is a great place.
We enjoyed the direct access to snowflake run out the back door and we would ski out every morning to snowflake lift down the hill.
The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking, bedding and bathing. We never ran out of supplies.
Given it is less than a 5 minute drive to Main Street you can’t beat that convenience and you can easily walk to Main Street too.
We definitely plan to stay again.

Rented this townhome in June 2023, and the company (River Ridge Rentals) knew it would be painted around that time but still rented it - never notified us about potential painting in the listing or rental contract.We arrived to stay in a painting construction zone for 3 nights. River Ridge at first claimed to not know it was being painted, then told us there was nothing they would do - wouldn't move us to a different house; wouldn't refund one penny of a $450/night rental. Later, in an email, River Ridge claimed it was a "gesture of goodwill" to let us out the remaining 2 nights as we abandoned our vacation due to this house situation. Buyer beware of this company! If you stay in one of their houses, expect River Ridge to do nothing for you if anything goes wrong, and keep the number of the Breckenridge short term rental nuisance hotline handy ().

The rental property was perfect; the "true" ski in/ski out was NOT a true ski in/out.True Ski in/Ski out = Coffee at 7am and notice great day to ski. Go to partially heated (yet cool) mud room to “gear up.” Walk out door, lock into skis and ski down to lift. Couple of runs and return for breakfast. Downhill ski directly to mud room, take off skis, into the mud room, remove excess gear and into the house.This property was NOT TRUE ski in/out.The Ski Out part: After coffee, I gear up outside on porch (facing street not slope). To the garage for skis. Trudge through 2 feet of snow to back of the house. Put on skis and down to the lift. There is a ground level exit but it’s a bedroom! If people are sleeping it can’t be used. You can’t bring ski gear into the house. So skis have to be taken through the snow to back of the house.The Ski In part: Ski down trail toward rental and hit 0.3-mile flat snow-covered surface. Cross country ski or take off skis and walk to house. (Note: property description does not say true “cross country” ski in/ski out!) Remove skis, leave behind house. Can’t use ground level entrance as people asleep in bedroom. If not, enter with snow covered gear?? Back through snow again to front porch and remove gear.Week, wonderful! Skiing, amazing! I wanted TRUE ski in/out experience. I paid a lot more than other rentals for that experience. The experience was not what was advertised. Had I known, I may have looked elsewhere but at least would have known the ACTUAL set up. The description of slope access is NOT accurate.I asked many skiers on lifts their definition of true ski in/out. They agreed with my description. They thought rental not accurately described when told actual slope access. A partial refund is in order for the inaccurate description. Family & I NOT disappointed with property or service but were VERY disappointed by the

This place is fantastic and in a great location! The property manager was super responsive and so friendly. My only recommendation would be to make sure the hot tub is ready to go upon arrival (we had to wait for it to great up). Overall lovely experience!

Clean and well stocked nice place to stay. Great ski out, even with fresh snow hard to ski in. There was a problem with the heat in the basement bedrooms, but the maintenance guy brought us two space heaters. Sounds like this was a problem before for other visitors. It is an expensive rental to have a worry about turning off the heaters when you go out, then come home to a freezing bedroom.

The property and location were great. However, there are some minor improvements that could be made to make the stay even better. There are no chairs on the main floor on the patio and should be so people can sit and mingle. Also, we couldn't find an ironing board, no indoor broom/dust pan, no mop - basic cleaning supplies that we think should be available for a week long stay. Thanks.

We had a great rental experience with River Ridge at Slopeside Saddlewood. The townhouse was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The location was great. Our family and friends had a great time playing in the snow right out back for hours each day. The gradual slope was an excellent area for my sister in laws and toddler daughter to learn how to snowboard as well. If coming in from the main slopes - just prepare yourself there will be a few areas where you need to walk or your snowboards or really use your ski poles. (We didn’t mind, still had fun)
The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you need, so we cooked majority of our meals at the home. We would recommend this townhome and would definitely stay there again!

Good location to the slopes, short walk to shuttle to get in town. Property was great for a group of friends spending time away together.

We loved our stay here. The run back to the place was closed so it wasn't quite the ski in and ski out we had hoped for but we probably should've checked that before going. Either way though, we loved the place. The townhouse has 3 stories so it was spaced out enough to feel like we could have our privacy when we wanted it. The rental place was very communicative and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

Breckenridge 2021 Family vacation
We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the property, the beautiful Mountain View’s, the proximity to Snowflake Chair Lift, and the well-stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, crock pots, and cleaning materials.
We enjoyed gathering at the table for meals and relaxing in the living room yet everyone had their space when needed.

Great place, excellent customer service
We loved our stay here. The run back to the place was closed so it wasn't quite the ski in and ski out we had hoped for but we probably should've checked that before going. Either way though, we loved the place. The townhouse has 3 stories so it was spaced out enough to feel like we could have our privacy when we wanted it. Know its a rental but few updates are in need - carpet very matted down and stained, & the king mattress in the master bedroom was caving in around the sides and generally not in great shape. Feel we paid a high price per night and would expect better quality of the home. We did enjoy our stay, thank you.

Was clean and great location. A little outdated and a few things didn't work but overall nice for the price. Entire family enjoyed our time there.

Loved the hot tub. A number of (minor) maintenance issues need to be addressed, for example the shower door in the master bath does not stay closed (needs new latch), and the ceiling fan in bunk bed room extremely unstable (seems unsafe). Most annoying trait - a big triangular window in the master bedroom with no blinds, meaning full sunshine VERY early in the morning. Beautiful neighborhood, with easy access to Sawmill Trail. 5min walk to FREE shuttle stop. 15min walk to "town" - all downhill (can take shuttle back up). Overall would recommend this place, but with these prices there should not be any outstanding maintenance issues IMO.

Great family vacation
The ski in ski out was accurately described...although Peak 8 was a bit harder for our beginners to get back. The layout of the home is great as everyone had their own 'space' but we were still able to be together. All the kitchen necessities were there for cooking (pots/pans etc.). If you're traveling with 6+ you will need additional supplies if cooking (paper plates/napkins/ziplocs etc.). They made check in and check out easy for us and the location was super convenient to free shuttle stop to down town or wherever you wanted to go.

Spring Break ski trip with the kids
Great Property. Communication with management was good. Location excellent for skiing with kids, large family or two families. 3 levels for space and privacy. Put skis on just outside the garage or back patio and ski down to snowflake lift. Skiing back to the property does include some flat areas and requires significant poling. Wouldn't want to ski back to the condo more than once or twice per day. Good access to peak 8 for beginner skiers. Intermediate and advanced skiers have good access to all peaks.

The property is a bit dated but overall a nice condo. Our family group has rented other similar properties now for 20+ years and have never seen a ski property without a place to put on ski boots and gear. If the property were way off site I think I'd understand since you have to put on your gear at the mountain but this is slope side... The management teams expectation is to put on gear in garage but it's very tight if you have a vehicle, there is no seating and, it gets might stinky after a few days as this is also where the garbage is stored. Also, the snowflake run that takes you down to the condo is an easy green trail but requires a fair amount of effort as there is a lot of flat terrain.The management company that runs the property is responsive. there were some basics missing in the kitchen and they delivered them within a couple of hours after a text message was sent - we appreciated that.Finally, take note there is no elevator and if you are not acclimated to the altitude unloading food and gear can be a challenge.
