We loved the small boutique approach to everything. There weren’t loads of other people staying so we felt looked after in every way. The river room was just superb. Huge. And overlooking the river bed below. The staff were amazing. Our personalised guide, Matt, was such a great guy, and guide, who was passionate about everything to do with sharing the best safari experience possible. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing hotel, super luxurious. Amazing guide that took us on some incredible game drive, always trying his best to help us see all the animals we wanted to.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Klaseri Drift for two nights and my experience was exceptionally good. The camp is situated in a beautiful natural setting that is surrounded by animals, making it a truly immersive and memorable experience.
The number of rooms in the camp is small, which provides a private and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing. Additionally, the camp features a viewpoint with a pool, which offers a fantastic opportunity to see animals while enjoying a refreshing swim. During our stay, between the game drives, we observed a group of giraffes hanging about in the area, which was an amazing experience.
The service at Klaseri Drift was simply the best we have ever experienced. The staff were extremely attentive to our every need and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would like to give a special mention to Brenda, who was particularly helpful in assisting us with our stay and also helped us to plan our next days of adventure in the KNP.
The game drives were an absolute highlight of our trip. We were fortunate enough to see a variety of animals, including a leopard, lions, giraffes, and elephants, among others. Our guide, Kuotso, was incredibly knowledgeable and also a lot of fun, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend Klaseri Drift to anyone looking for an exceptional safari experience. The combination of a beautiful natural setting, excellent service, and unforgettable game drives make it a must-visit destination for any wildlife enthusiast.
It was a bit hard to find our way to the camp. It's about 20-30 min drive from the reserve gate to the camp, provided you know the way. There are a few turns that you need to take. At the junctions there are wayfinding signs, but most of them don't have the Klaseri Drift on them, instead they have their old name, Misava. Because of that, it took us longer than anticipated to reach the camp and we missed lunch and 1 game drive. The staff were kind to us and suggested to give us a ride to join the game drive, but we were tired from the drive and accepted an offer for a late lunch instead, which was most appreciated.

Exceptional experience - unbelievable being so close to the animals!
Accommodations beautiful, magnificent location, though remote location provided with luxurious services.
Was expensive but you get what your pay for - deserved the "treat"!
Was the best! Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Everything at the Misava Camp was excellent. We stayed for 4 nights and had beautiful encounters with the big five. Our guide for the week, Matt, was well experienced and showed us very beautiful parts of the Klassrie reserve. Also, the two cooks at the camp JB and Lance prepared excellent. Real fast lunch and dinner every day! Beautiful stay!

Game drives:
Kutsho our guide was exceptional. Always in a good mood, always having some interesting facts to tell us about the nature surrounding us and he went to great lengths to make it possible for us to see the animals. He also provided us with rain ponchos on the colder and rainy drives we had. The coffee breaks and sun downer drinks in the bush are unforgettable.
Food:
The food we were served was exceptional.
Staff:
Our butler David always ensured that we had what we needed and wished for and was very attentive. Overall the staff was very warm and welcoming.
Location:
The lodgel is on a little hill looking over the Misava River where we could spot several times elephants, girafes and antilopes.
Room/Cleanliness:
Our room was very clean with working AC for the hot days.

Matt was a very good guide, he was not only focused on the big 5 but on all the animals. He knew soooo much about everything!
Also our butler gave us a very personal service which was great. They even organised a private diner at the boma for my parents anniversary. Thank you to all the staff!

The location and staff make this Safari Camp exceptional!
My only suggestion: the shower could use a spring clean

beautiful boutique home. stunning views. great food, lovely staff, very knowledgeable ranger, comfortable room: Simply perfect. great for couples for a 2-4 day stay. it’s a bit far from nearest facilities (>1 hr drive) but in return you get amazing views up till the horizon where you don’t see anything manmade: Truly unique
The manager, in all her friendliness, can be a bit too dominant and overwhelming at times. it’s a thin line between ‘elegant’ and ‘too much’ but at this level you expect this to be understood naturally. we were, for example, made to feel that our voluntary tip for the team at the end was not enough. In appreciation for the hospitality we gave > €150. it’s the only remark we have as for the rest all was amazing! maybe one small tip: add mosquito doors to the sliding doors in the room to allow for the sounds, smells and breeze to come into the room, but to keep insects out.

Everything was really nice! Enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Beginning from the amazing stuff, who made our stay so special. Food was really good too. You can choose your breakfast menu, get a delicious lunch and dinner! The rooms are super big, comfy and nice and the common areas were designed nicely. The big Terrasse with the pool has an amazing view over the river, where you can already spot some animals while relaxing.
But of course the game drives were the most special! We did them with Ranger Nick, who really made every drive special for us! he has so much knowledge about all the animals and wildlife which made it even more interesting, getting all these insights about the animals we saw. So blessed to made this experience with them! We were so sad to leave and hope to get there again!

staff really friendly and facilities are okay but not what is expected for the price
it took a long time to arrive to the property and the directions were not clear especially if you are driving there you should expect an additional hour to get to the lodge. we didn’t like the fact that they required payment before arrival even if in booking it wasn’t required. the lunch was really light and the choice is quite limited for an all inclusive stay. the way that they push for tip at the end of the trip wasn’t right either as it’s already quite costly. the pool seem to be really small if all guests are there. the shower had not enough pressure and the temperature is not stable.

River view suite was luxurious and with great views. Food was great with some exceptions—limited fruit offerings.
I would prefer if it was clear what drinks were available at no extra cost. Very little appeared to be available that did not cost additional money. It would be far better just to include most drinks in the price so guests can just relax and not care about cost of extras.

This was our first stay in a safari region. Everything exceeded our expectations. The room was unbelievable with amazing views and comforts. Our safaris with Emily were incredible, how fortunate we were to see all the amazing animals and nature throughout our game drives. The food was exceptional, JB our chef certainly knows how to cook. Prudence and all other staff were so attentive and welcoming, not to forget the special arranging of a surprise proposal - I couldn’t have picked a better place.
Klaserie Drift will forever hold a special memory in our hearts and we certainly hope to return!

WOW!
This place is really nice, in the middle of the park between all wild animals. The view from the pool is amazing. The food is perfect. My girlfriend is vegatarian and they made the best meals. The room is beautiful! We really enjoyed the game drives and all the information we got from our guide.

Amazing breakfast, and wonderful staff. The view from the pool/ garden is INCREDIBLE and there is a watering hole which attracts animals you can watch as you swim / lounge in the afternoons. One of the highlights was watching a huge herd of elephants play and drink at the watering hole for about 2 hours. Totally amazing. The accom is stunning and the pool / outside areas are probably the nicest I have ever seen. After a long trip travelling round S.A for a few weeks this was the perfect place to relax, chill and enjoy being in the absolute lap of luxury. Its a small lodge and very personal service. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves due to some other guests not making it due to Covid-19 so we had an incredible experiencing having the place to ourselves.
There's nothing I didn't like really. It a gorgeous, fabulous place to spend some time. The animals are a little less numerous than in a region like sabi, so be prepared fr that. We stayed at a self drive for 2 night before this and that was the best of both world for us. Saw a lot on the self drive so we were happy with that, but for some if you only have a few days you need to manage expectations that you might not see everything. But the experience of bouncing along on the jeep and sipping your sun downers whilst looking at a hippo is incredible and not to be missed. Staying at a lodge is the only way you will get to experience a night drive which is super exciting too. The service and care is the very best here and they really go out of their way to look after you. We did see plenty of wildlife- vultures, giraffe, zebra, many, many, elephants, hippo, , impala, warthog, jackal, - a black mamba snake eeek! rhino, and lastly some fab lions!! :-)

The cozy camp is directly located in the wild bush. We were wondering how this great staff is able to provide such a high service level in the nature. Everything worked perfectly. The food was amazing. The rooms were super clean. The game drives were a once-in-a-lifetime-experience. Thanks for this to the whole team!

There are so many lodges out there, so hard to choose right?.. I've checked many options online and I'm so glad I picked Amani!!! You may think that the price is a bit high BUT everything is included - 2 game drives a day, all meals and ALL drinks (there is a self-service bar by the pool with soda, wine and beers)!
The camp is beautiful and intimate (a total of 8 large rooms), the staff is amazingly friendly, the food is delicious and our ranger was top notch!
I cannot recommend enough this peaceful place that will truly disconnect you from the world. Waking up to elephants walking right in front of the lodge is priceless.
Thank you the Amani staff for this unforgettable stay!
I really loved everything and I trust me, I am picky!
