Breakfast at a time of my choosing. The friendly owner. Wagon wheels as a freebie in the room.

A friendly welcome and responsive to a request for heating. Easy-going about the time for breakfast.
Noise insulation was poor so we could hear a loud TV clearly until quite late. Bed not comfortable - felt the 'springs'! Bathroom floor not terribly clean. Didn't really like having to ask for heating!

Breakfast good. View of garden. Staff friendly
Couldn’t find property. No signage from main road showing access to lane of no significance.

We arrived early unknown to us that the booking was for a later arrival time. That was no problem for the lady who greeted us with a wonderfully cheerful and warm reception and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Our room décor was clean, warm and welcoming and everything had been thought of. We also had a fridge with drinks, milk and chocolate - courtesy of the owners. We wished to start off early the next morning and the lady said she would serve us breakfast at any time we wanted, even earlier that 6am if we wished. Lastly, breakfast was served in a lovely conservatory facing a beautiful garden with bird feeding stations galore. Didn't want to leave.
We liked everything.

The owners, Carmen and Tam were wonderful. We arrived soaking wet from hiking the West Highland away. They we’re very welcoming, dried our clothes and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge stocked with cold drinks. Clifton Cottage is a couple of minutes walk to Tyndrum amenities such as The Green Welly and Tyndrum Inn. Breakfast was delicious and we felt that we were very well looked after by our lovely hosts.

When we arrived, we had some wet clothing and the proprietors made sure these were dry and ready for the morning. The breakfast was superb, I haven`t had porridge like that before, it was plentiful and yummy! On leaving the property next morning Tam presented us with a couple of energy bars each, nice touch.
Nothing comes to mind, overall really pleased with stay.

Tam was a very interesting man to meet and I plan to keep in touch with him.
My sat nav did not provide good directions. Some more explicit directions on the website would help. The Post Code like many other ones in the Highlands is shared by several locations.

A delightful breakfast. A very friendly welcome. A comfortable room, with all the latest equipment, including a modern Tassimo coffee machine. A trendy shower, which told me the exact temperature of the water, with digital display. Complimentary biscuits, complementary soft drinks. Over breakfast, we watched birds (and a squirrel) at the bird feeder in the garden.

Breakfast at 6.30 so that we could start our long walk early. The room was well organised with USB chargers, reading light just where needed. We loved watching the birds in the conservatory at breakfast.
