Good location and average hotel

Location

Single room wasn’t good, poor mattress, shower head needed fixing, had to step out of bathroom to open door and get in shower, some areas not cleaned properly, couldn’t use mirror without bending neck.

zentrale Lage, Nähe zum Opernhaus, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Zimmer sehr klein mit großer Fensterfront, es konnte aber kein Fenster geöffnet werden, angeblich aus Sicherheitsgründen

Mille punti per la posizione

Hotel molto accogliente, le camere sono spaziose (a differenza di molti altri hotel ad Amsterdam); dispone di una grande hall dove è possibile intrattenersi con alcuni giochi tra cui il tavolo da biliardo, inoltre è presente un rubinetto per riempire le bottiglie di acqua gratuitamente. Lo staff ci ha aiutati ad effettuare il check-in/out anche se ci sono delle postazioni a disposizione per farlo in autonomia. Posizione eccellente a due passi dalla piazza Rembrandtplein e dalla fermata del tram.

The room was terrible located on the 5th floor with no view, small and tiny, no worth paying that much to that awful room , the lady checked us in was very odd in her behavior.

Good location that’s all, not worth the money.

Location

Extremely noisy, we were canal side so hear ever car going by and the windows are extremely thin. Beds were uncomfortable as well. Asked for a double but given two singles. Won’t be staying again

Below average room, but the hotel in general was ok. Not value for money.

The breakfast was ok, not the best selection, but good enough. The little snack shop was a good addition for 24 hour access. The location was very good near to Rembrandt Square.

I had a single room and definitely was not value for money. I wanted to like this hotel as it looked good on the pictures. The room was not cleaned very well such as the bathroom and the bin had rubbish in it. Items weren't replaced such as water. There was a horrible smell when you walked into the room. The closest I could compare the room to was a one star Formula 1 hotel I stayed in France once many years ago where it was basic, old and rushly cleaned. The annoying thing was the price. It was around 190 euros a night, which is completely unacceptable for the poor quality of the room, which was booked in advance. I appreciate Amsterdam is expensive, but this was ridiculous. I suspect however I probably had a duff room compared to what others might have and just unlucky, hopefully for you. Good luck!

Good location, good value and good people.

The location was fantastic because we could walk to most of the main tourist sights or catch a tram just outside the hotel. Plenty of variety for breakfast. The staff was very helpful with booking restaurants and taxis.

Great place for a city stop over while waiting to board our river cruise.

Stylish decor in the room, good furniture, good bed and bathroom. Breakfast buffet had good selection and staff were very helpful when we needed some assistance. Great location!

Very good

Great location!! The staff is very nice and welcoming and Whenever I needed they were very quick to respond, all the time with a smile. Rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. I love that you get 4 different pillows (soft to hard) to choose from! Its not my first time here and I'm sure I will return in the future.

Excellent location for first time visiter

Central and right on the river. Good walking distance to attractions and Amsterdam Central. Staff were friendly and I felt safe in the hotel.

Staff really friendly and helpful. After checking in, we asked for a change of room as ours was located close to the main bin area and therefore noisy. We were given a new room quickly with no fuss. Hotel location very good with easy tram access from central station and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Room quiet and well appointed.

No view as faced onto the back and not a lot of natural light. Found a dirty cotton ear bud on the carpet (the room seemed otherwise clean). Ideally would have liked a mini fridge for the price but not an issue.

great location with very friendly staff.

I initially booked a single room via Booking.com. The room was so small I upgraded at twice the cost to a double room with a canal view. I lost 2 items of clothing in the change of rooms which I never recovered despite 2 attempts to.

The bathroom light switch was on the inside behind the door. there was no master switch to turn all the lights out from the bed unlike the single room. I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth for the €25 breakfast.
