Staff rude and not helpful when we booked we did not know we could not check in after 10pm, the staff stopped replying to our messages, WhatsApp’s and pleas to help us after our planes were delayed and we were stranded without baggage at the airport. Not refundable. A completely morally corrupt hostel.

no comment as I did not get to stay at the property
Please read carefully. I am not one to provide negative feedback for unpleasant stays, however after last nights experience, I feel that it is necessary to share my experience with the property owner during this stay.
Background - check in closes at 10pm
I booked this stay on a travel day arriving at 9:30pm in the evening. What I didn’t know was that the check in time was firm with ZERO flexibility - misleading given the the owners document to fill out after paying + booking.com asked when I’d be arriving to which I could put a time after 10pm. I followed up with the property manager a day before our arrival to see whether it’s possible to allow a 10-20 min delay for check in JUST IN CASE we ran late, the answer came back the a day later (day of check in) and was a firm no. We tried to follow up again with other questions around check in times, possibilities with no response.
Unfortunately… luck was not on our side as transportation was a little running late.
We rushed to the place and arrived at 10:04pm, doors locked, no way of us accessing the inside of the apartment. We messaged the owner, he had zero sympathy said it’s too bad and that we should find another place to stay (extremely rude). This response was at 10:05pm - 5 MINUTES PAST CHECK IN!
So we knocked on the door with the hostel name clearly written and another guest immediately opened it for us. The guest was an old man who only spoke Portuguese, we showed him our booking, the confirmed payment and he let us in. We sent a message to the property manager to let him know that all was well - we made it into the unit and the reaction was shocking……
The property manager proceeded to call the GUEST that let us in and YELLED at him over the phone telling him he should not have let us in (despite paying for stay + security deposit and arriving 5 min late).

clean nice room, big shared kitchen and shared bathrooms
Not check-in possible before 22:00!!!! so it can be pretty stressful if you have any delays in flights etc...
Also it is pretty complicated to access the apartment, need to spend a long time on phone/computer to go through this.
(1) fill in form, (2) wait to receive info on how to pay the 60€, then wait again to receive instruction on how to access the appartment. More elderly people (e.g. My parents) would never manage to understand the whole process

Worst host i ever had.
I needed to checkin after 10pm, but couldnt. Normally never problem in any other hotel or hostel i ever stayed!
Not only that a cancellation wasnt possible, the guy kept all of my money and didnt went any step into my direction. He replied me super unprofessional and harsh, he didnt work a second for 130€. it was not that i found out a week later after my booking that i cant checkin after 10pm, but after some hours.
Besides the absolute failure of a host i also see booking com here in responsibility too, their website still allows me to book and select the time to checkin (in my case after midnight) even though the Host is not making any exceptions. Its stated on their page that checkin is only until 10pm, but as i mentioned before, that was never a problem to checkin after the mentioned time with any other hostel. Why the heck is it even possible to book it even though the checkin time is outside of that what a Host is stating!
i am writing this as a warning, extremely overpriced for a hostel, inpolite and not professional. Better go to Stay hotels at lisboa Airport, in my case just 5€ more expensive but with no drama at all.

Despite my request for late check-in sent from the board of the plane at around 7 pm, the property pretended to receive it at 10 pm. After receiving it at 10 pm, the manager decided to leave property, rather than accept my late check-in request and welcome me at the property. The manager had bot been picking up the phone until 22.45. Then he refused to find a solution again. The property has chosen to steal my money, not provide the service and leave me without sleep, while I mentioned that I spent the last money on my card for the booking.

The bathrooms are very bad and there is no good arrangement for shower. Even in television, no channel works well.

Nice place, the room was ok, shared places too.
There wasn't a person in the hostel. Actually, it wasn't the hostel we are used to. It is just a house with independent rooms. The point is that the host wasn't there, but you have to communicate with him via WhatsApp. One of the reasons I chose for some trips a hostel/hotel is because I want to have a fast check in, with someone at a front desk that take care of everything. It wasn't the case, I had to call someone, and he gave me instructions via phone.

After paying for the room, 60€ security deposit and 10€ cleaning fee is added. Check in process is a 7 page online document which you have to complete while standing alone in the dark outside the building. There is noone to assist.
This is a scam. Not a hostel but rooms only, with unsafe building and sparking electrical outlets. No lobby, no receptionist. Dirty linen and bathroom. CoCo Pops for breakfast but no milk. The key is hidden behind a tile in the hall.

The owner is just trying to scam you, the rooms are not like the pictures, the curtains and the equipment are broken so that he won't return your deposit money, they will steal your deposit and booking.com will not do anything , and worse than that, all the good memories of the trip will be ruined by the psychological game that owner will start

My room was really nice. The hostel was right next to a mall with a grocery store.
I didn't like the sign-in process. I had to give a 60 euro deposit before they would let me in, even after the payment. Once I was in, there were a bunch of instructions that I had to call someone on the phone to access. If I didn't have data, it would have been a very stressful situation to even get into the hostel because I wouldn't have been able to pay the deposit. There was a very musty smell in the bathrooms. It was advertised that there was breakfast included...I'm not sure if I was missing something, but all that was there was a bit of old cereal in a jar and some food in the fridge. Other hostels that I had been to put out the breakfast so that you don't accidentally eat someone's personal food from the fridge. I tried to eat the cereal using an open carton of milk that I assumed belonged to the hostel, but there was literally no cutlery to be found anywhere. There is a kitchen to be used, but stuff was missing, so it was hard to cook... like cutlery. When I left, I tidied my room (put used towels together and all garbage in the appropriate bins), and they didn't give me back my full deposit, without an explanation. I only got 50 euros back and I'm not sure why I didn't get the remaining 10 euros. I never encountered any staff, which was weird. Overall, this was not what I expected, especially for the high price you had to pay compared to other hotels/hostels

Pictures on your we bsite about rooms are misleading.. No value for this money. Terrible check in experience. It is a rip off and should not be on your list of hotels. It is way below your standard.

It is close to the airport
Very confusing check in process. It's not really a hostel, just an apartment with rooms to rent
3.0
The location is relatively close to the airport, a Bolt ride of 3 EUR.
This is a staff-free place. You will only have contact via Whatsapp. Prior to checkin they require you to fill a Google Form with personal data. Then they ask you for an additional deposit of 60 EUR to be paid via credit card online prior to arrival. The deposit is refunded only two weeks after the stay and not in full (expected 58 EUR back as they deduct the 2 EUR tourist tax but received 56.91 EUR without further explanation).
The shared bathroom is molded and stinks. The "breakfast" is a coffee capsule machine without enough capsules provided for all guests.

Ubicación cercana al aeropuerto
La atención del host, malas formas y complicado para poder ingresar al hostel (llenar forms, garantía previa).
Host attention, bad manners and tough to get into he place.

Comfy bed
I booked this place because it said there was an airport shuttle service but afterwards I was told that is not offered anymore. Additionally to do the check in you need internet and to enter the building you need to make a local phone call. Both of these things can be impossible when traveling. I ended up having to activate a very expensive data plan on my phone so that I could call the local number when I arrived and get let into the property. Very complicated check in process overall and very frustrating to deal with after a long trip. Also needed to make three payments at different times because there was an additional security deposit and tax that were all paid at different times and in different forms.

We could store our food in the fridge
The check in I did not enjoy. You have to fill in a form and pay a deposit of 60 EUR (I had to write the host to return it to me. It's been 9 days since we left and it still isn't back in my bank account. In an email I got as a part of the check in procedure it says it will be returned after check out, but I honestly think if I didn't send an email asking for it back, it would not be returned) It is a flat where you occupy a room, so you hear everything going on outside of your room. The bathroom is hard to lock, so when you want to shower at night, you can either stay unlocked or wake up everyone trying to lock it.

If I could have cancelled my booking and got my money returned I would have not stayed here. The rooms are clean but by the time everyone has showered the place is a tip due to how the bathrooms are fitted (wet rooms)
On arrival I was asked for a 60 Euro deposit which I had missed in the small print, this was not returned to me as promised but they kept it for a week without asking and I am still not sure if it has been refunded. This is on top of the room charge. On arrival we were left in the street until a member of staff let us into the tower block and the hostel and as it was late at night it was a little unsettling. We were not given towels or offered them, so had to dry our selves on our clothes as in the booking details it said towels were provided. In the morning the bathrooms were a swamp as other residents had used them and as wet rooms there was water everywhere. There were no toiletries in the bathrooms and one of the two toilets did not flush. Our "twin room" was a set of children's bunk beds and being nearly 60 my husband did struggle to get up the ladder. I am very short but hit my head on the bottom bunk when I sat down. In the morning we went to have breakfast, there was no milk no juice no bread for toast no butter or marg or jam as it had all been consumed by the other people who were staying. So our included breakfast was a shared yoghurt and a long life sweet bread roll. When we went out to get dinner we discovered we had not been given a fob to get back in and had to use the code we had been texted. If we had been able to cancel and get a refund we would have done it. My advice is to not stay here, also they proudly display their booking.com rating as an 8 but that was in 2017.

The landlor was quite friendly.
The property is not so close to the airport, you need to go with taxi/bolt. Additional deposit (60€) need to be paid, without the payment you are not allowed to enter - was not indicated before, you just receive ňan invoice on the day of stay. Bathroom was not clean.

Easy street parking close to airport and shopping center open late. Bunk bed had comfortable mattress.
There was a strong smell of sewage throughout and the lock of the toilet room shared by all didn’t work.
