Emplacement idéal pour vadrouiller dans les différents quartiers de New-Orleans

il s'agit d'une ancienne grande maison rénovée (plancher bois, parquet, huisserie bois) ... charmante mais avec le défaut de son charme, l'isolation phonique. Et lorsque vos "voisins du dessus ou de l'autre côté du couloir" n'ont pas vraiment à coeur de se faire discret, vous vous en rendez-compte. il y a 3 niveaux, une demi-douzaine de chambres à chaque niveau. La terrasse couverte et le salon intérieur sont partagés et confortables. Notre chambre comportait un lit King-size très confortable, un téléviseur (prévoir ses codes d'abonnement pour utilisation nteflix etc ...) , un mini-réfrigérateur, un micro-onde, une cafetière (café, filtre, sucre, lait en poudre à dispo, 1 mug). une salle de bain/WC plutôt grande. La baignoire (/spa) mériterait d'être changée (fonctionnelle mais vieillotte et la fonction SPA est HS), le système de ventilation/chauffage est efficace mais ne pas le faire tourner trop longtemps (au retour d'une promenade sous l'orage new-orléannais par exemple) ... si vous faites tourner le micro-onde et le réfrigérateur en même temps, vous faites sauter les plombs. L'appel à l'hôte est très réactif ;-) et très cordial. le tableau de fusibles se trouve dans le placard face aux machines à laver et séche-linge :-) les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas mais air conditionné, ventilé, chauffage à dispo. + proximité de la ligne de Tram, bus pour se rendre au centre ville en 30/40min + proximité du parc, jardin botanique et .... "succursale" du Café du Monde (beaucoup moins d'affluence qu'au bord du Mississipi et les beignets sont effectivement très bons !) +commerces alimentaires à une dizaine de minutes de marche.

- isolation phonique ? mais ça paraît compliqué de l'améliorer étant donné qu'il s'agit d'une "ancienne" maison - ajouter un petit assortiment de vaisselle (tasse, petite cuillère) - Préciser plus explicitement l'absence de coin cuisine, même partagé - mettre à disposition un aspirateur ou balai/balayette pour pouvoir assurer par soi-même un petit coup de propre quand le séjour est de plusieurs nuits.

Fabulous!!!

I liked having somewhere nice to come home to without it being a busy environment. Beds were super comfy and I don't know where they get their pillows but I loved them.

I wasn't a fan of being in the basement BUT when I expressed this to the team my next stay here wasn't in the basement. There's nothing wrong with the basement, I just didn't like being down there.

Your "Bait and Switch" tactics were horribly disappointing.

Your photos and descriptions are very misleading and untrue. Our room was advertised as a studio and sometimes as an apartment. It was actually an old, mildew smelling, building with small, noisy rooms. Ours had 7' ceilings, a bed and an old chair in the basement. There was no lobby or anyone to ask questions or to remove the dead bird outside our window for 4 days! We paid $230 per night which was twice as much as you advertised 2 days later! Your Price Match guarantee is nothing more than a hoax. The front gate was laying on the ground, the exterior side entrance door lock was missing and people from the adjoining room could walk into our room at any time! Your advertising seemed proud to state that "Free parking is available on the street! Your other guest were equally discussed.

Beautiful house, great location, near cemeteries.

I feel like the location and atmosphere was perfect. It was close to the city and right in front of the trolly line. It was close enough to walk to a breakfast spot.

It was not close to any grocery stores. The temperature in the room was hard to manage. Also when we showed up we only had three towels. We had to call for more. In our room the handle on the shower was broken as well.

it was clean and comfortable

check in process is difficult there is no front of house staff. I did not receive the check in information which is sent by text, be wary if you have an international phone the text might not come through. We arrived at the property and still had not received any information on room number or access codes. Staff on the phone line did help but it was costly to be able to contact them.

the room was very shabby and certainly not newly renovated. the outside steps were in desperate need of repair and there was empty cardboard boxes cluttering up the porch. the exterior of the house was filthy. we were concerned that the basement entrance was unlocked and often left open a few inches for the whole duration of our stay

The location was great, close to streetcars and buses, and there were a couple of nice breakfast places in a walking distance.

The water in the shower was lukewarm at best, and it took about 10 minutes to get to that temperature. There was a loud humming noise coming from under the floor; it sounded like an appliance was underneath this unit (#202) and it was very loud and vibrated when it was on.

Overall a good stay, would likely book here again.

Great location on Canal street. easy access to everything via the streetcars. Good ac in building and in room. Nice lounge area. room access was more convenient than hotels, you don’t have to remember a key or card to get in. Quiet area so going to sleep is easy.

Smaller than anticipated, small fridge froze everything even on the lowest setting.

Pros: Nearest trolley service p/u and drop off was right deon the street. The house was located centrally to Bourbon, Riverwalk and the Casino. (Just to name a few). Contacting the owner was quick and easy. There was an issue w/one of my parties air not working and they were able to accomodate him w/a different room. The area was quite.

Cons: I had the room on the porch (loved my location)..however, there were at least 2 soft spots (cracked wood) in the floor that I always managed to step in. The shower is slanted and therefore, wearing shower shoes was redundant. So I almost slipped and fell getting in/out of the shower. I advise that maybe shower pads or a shower mat be placed inside to keep from slipping and falling. The dressers needed to be dusted. We visited w/a large group and wanted to fellowship in the common area but there was no A/C nor a window fan only a celing fan for air. The air in the main house hallway didn't work either.

it was ok,

It was cool. Easy to get in the room, but when we got in we started having issues. I would have preferred a room downstairs, but you get what you pay for.

Our power went out multiple times during this stay and it was very difficult for us to enjoy the room. It was very cold during our stay and we had to use space heaters. Hot water was non existent for most of the trip as well.

Had a great stay

We love the customer service, location, street car 🚃 came by like clock work could take it easy nice Neighbourhood ,clean and quiet, easy check-in love the key pad make it easy not to have to keep up with key 😊

We started off a little rocky the heater didn't work so I called and they offered us another room but had a heater faster than lightning we were very pleased with the customer service
