The property is great for multiple couples or families with children. We met our adult son there for a five day mini vacation. There is plenty of room to move around in the house. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath which was very nice surprise. Everything is well maintained and cleaned. I rarely recommend a property but this one is very good for your stay in Siesta Key. The beaches are amazing. Everything is within walking distance. We will rent this place again. Love it.

Couldn't really ask for a better location, close to the village with restaurants, bars, and ice cream shops. Walking distance (.8) mile to the beach. Towels, a wagon, chairs, umbrellas all well maintained and ready to take to the beach.
Bring some WD40 for the metal bunk beds, as they're very squeaky, and everything but oil and coffee for the kitchen, and you'll be golden for a great stay.

This worked out perfect for our trip. Plenty of room and nicely furnished. The chilled wine waiting for us was a nice touch! Thanks for having beach towels and chairs. Didn't get a chance to use the bicycles, but that would have been great, too.

This was the best location to dine, shop or hit the beach all by foot. So many great restaurants and shopping in the Village and the beaches are beautiful . The PH has a roof top patio for viewing sunsets or just relaxing. It was the most stocked VRBO that we have rented with plenty of towels, soap, dishes, coolers, beach chairs, rollaways, bikes, even scooters. The property manager was extremely detailed from checkin to checkout, so never a question. The place was recently remodeled which is also hard to find with many VRBOs. We loved everything and you will too!

Disappointed! Home is much older than presented online. Low ceilings, beat up paint and overall old feel. Dirty filthy front door covered in dead bugs( I had to clean it). Also the Awning was low and droopy. Home had wear and tear feeling and had an old living sofa and poor quality kitchen chairs, No hot water in kitchen and then they sent someone without an approved appt to enter house to fix when we were not there( no phone call telling us or anything). The management company was responsive but is in NJ and tried to tell me that there was no problem with the RED TIDE on the beach! It was a big problem! Home backs right up to the main road so lots of traffic noise in the primary bedroom. This home is Not recommended.

The house was very clean and there were ample supply of towels, beach chairs, etc. Very roomy and we were comfortable with 4 woman staying there. If 2 of our other friends had come, there would still have been plenty of room. Suggestions: Have soap dishes in the bathroom by the sinks. Clean out the drain in the tub. Water drains slowly. There should be a pump by the bikes in the garage for filling tires which will go low from sitting and the seats should be higher. They were child size. Luckily, we found a wrench in the kitchen. The beach is a bit less than a mile. We walked to town. The place is quiet, but it is off of a very busy street. I have no major complaints. The owner is very easy to communicate with and he was very responsive to all of our requests. Lots of room in the house to be together or to spread out. 2 places to sit outside.

Everything was great at this property. Good location. Great amenities, we had everything we needed for the beach and didn’t have to bring anything. Communion from the property management was great, we knew exactly what to expect during our stay. They were quick to respond when we wanted to extend our stay. Will definitely stay here if we ever visit Siesta Key again!

We loved our stay here! It is just far enough away from the bustle of Siesta Key Village to feel peaceful, but only about a 7 minute walk down the street to all the shopping and dining. The house is very comfortable and clean. We loved the spacious open floor plan. We had some friend gatherings and it had plenty of seating and room between the open interior and the nice patio! The beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels were great to use to avoid having to bring our own. Dan the property manager always responded super quickly and accomodated our every need. We hope to stay again!

Conveniently located with many nice amenities and plenty of space for large groups. I stayed here with my sisters and we enjoyed the house a lot and were very comfortable. It’s a short bike ride to the beach and town, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The property manager is great and helpful. Beds are comfy which is a must for me. I recommend staying here.

Wonderful weekend getaway at Siesta Key!
Just finished spending a wonderful weekend getaway at Siesta Key, and had the pleasure of staying at the clean and conveniently located Gertrude property at Siesta Key. Right next door to Siesta Village with amazing restaurants, a fully stocked market (that has amazing smoked wings and take Apple Pay), and bustling with activity. The property was clean with a modern aesthetic. Check in and check out was streamlined (the check out time however is strict, 10AM, with “no exceptions”). The property provided beach towels, beach chairs, and a fully stocked kitchen. Beach access is about 15 min walk from the property, or approx 5-7min by automobile. The beds were clean and comfortable, and having an in-unit washer/dryer was a welcome convenience. The kids loved the room outfitted with two bunk beds side-by-side. Would highly recommend this property to others looking to enjoy Siesta Key Beach and Siesta Key Village, either with family or sans! Don’t forget to stop by the Sun Garden Cafe for brunch, the Shrimp Benedict and Mississippi Queen (chicken and waffles) were delectable!

Perfect getaway
I can highly recommend this property and the owner for anyone looking for a good vacation time. Owner was seriously one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered and was so helpful in every way even in recommendations for what to do and was always responsive. Memorial Day 2022 trip
We loved Casa Tranquila. It was a perfect property our quick visit. Close to the beach, reasonably priced, had lots of space and the bikes/beach gear took all the planning/lugging extra gear along out of it.
Mornings were spent on the front patio or at the sea wall watching the dolphins. We had a lot of fun biking to the beach mid-morning, then to dinner in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen/dining room/living room were all very spacious.
Dan was very responsive when we reached out about parking at the property before check-in and when we asked about using the bikes.
We'll definitely be back and I think anyone considering this property will be very pleased if they choose to stay here. We highly recommend!

Awesome home
My husband and I went for a quick getaway Memorial Day weekend. The house and location was amazing. We were able to toe and park our boat without any difficulty in the drive. The owner was AMAZING to work with and we will definitely be back!
