We had a great stay! The room was clean and cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. It also offered a great outdoor space overlooking the pool, and a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning. I'd recommend the bike rental place a block over and riding bikes around the island. The house has plenty of parking for bikes and great indoor spaces to relax as well. We would absolutely book again!

Linoleum in bathroom with peeling paint needs repair!
Ideally more parking should be available with removal of the handicap space which no one parked in for fear of being fined! If there was someone who needed it we could always accommodate by being sensitive to this.

We had a great time. Everything on the property was clean and felt very welcoming. Only complaint was not much room to move around while getting ready for the day. However in Key west with so much to do we did not spend much time in our room. Thank you for the hospitality.

This property was a little too far from Duval for our liking. COHIBA was the tiniest room we've ever stayed in (the pictures make it look much bigger). We were literally tripping over each other with no room for suitcases and tiny nightstands. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries and had peeling paint. To keep the room cool enough, the a/c had to be on high and was extremely loud (couldn't hear TV or sleep well because of the noise) and this was only 80 degree weather. In the morning, our things were literally damp from the mist coming from the a/c unit. We did enjoy the heated pool and balcony with chairs and the mattress was comfortable. It was also the best location on property since it was by itself. The value of what we paid for COHIBA just wasn't there though. I reread the wonderful reviews on this room (which is why I chose it) and I'm truly surprised that people liked it that much. So glad we only stayed there one night.

Positives: Common areas were kept neat and orderly. Cold, fruited drinking water readily available. Fresh fruit basket for guests.
In need of improvement: guest rooms are worn (mold in shower, paint peeling, bathroom mirror tarnished). Mattresses are in need of replacement. Air conditioners so loud when running that had to turn up volume of tv. Guests below us were able to turn our ceiling fan and light on and off with their remote. Obviously not ideal if your room lights come on/off while sleeping. Hot water inadequate. Twice we had to shower with cold water. Upon arrival, a sign is posted in guest rooms that if cleaning is requested, there is an extra charge and also to get a change of linens or towels and message must be sent the day prior. The Cohiba (room we rented) is SMALL. Possibly adequate for a night or two but very cramped for any longer stay. Road noise from Truman Ave is LOUD.

The Azul mansion in key West is a wonderful place to stay if you're going to the island and don't want kids around and are looking for a quiet place to relax after your adventures. The property is perfectly located a few blocks from Duval ave. There's a bike rental place right around the corner that was fantastic to work with. There's parking which can be a bit hard to find and it comes with a lovely pool along with comfortable beds. The only reason I give general conditions 4 stars is because my room had a very strong perfume smell that was off-putting. However it was Easily remedied by opening the window and leaving the door open to air the room out. The bathroom did have a bit of black mold growing in the shower but it wasn't a real concern. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Our room ‘Cohiba’ was clean and comfortable, small and tight. It was easy to check in and check out. Our host Melanie was very accommodating to our needs. The staff kept the common area clean and well stocked with clean pool towels, ice, coffees etc. we especially liked the refillable filtered water machine to refill our water bottles. Loved the private pool! Location was close and great for walking or biking.

The unit is small, which we knew ahead of time. Everything else about it was great. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the A/C worked very well. The unit was clean. The location was perfect, close to the Duval Loop bus stop, so we didn’t need to drive while we were there. The host was very helpful.

Beautiful,unique, practical, super clean with everything one needs for a nice stay in Key West. Well kept pool, a place to make drinks, plenty of ice, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen that we used to make wraps, taco's, and sandwiches for our jaunts. Decent coffee too! We would stay here again without question.

The house was very nice, the check in process was super easy, the pool was clean, and the hosts were very accommodating. The house is a 20 minute walk to the most popular areas of the island. The room could use a bit of updating; everything was clean and comfortable, but the furnishings and paint were a bit worn and out of date.

This place was less than a mile away from Duval Street and we walked there easily each day. The room was great. It is a small room, but we only slept there and it was good and comfy for that. The adults only rule is great!!! Pool was nice to cool down in after activities. Management responds quickly and can help with bike rentals and excursions. We will definitely stay again!

My wife and I stayed for an extended weekend for our anniversary. Check in couldnt be easier and the unit was perfect. Clean and just enough space for us. Bed was super comfortable and everything worked as it should. Met some great people and we all would usually end up retiring to the pool during the hottest part of the day. Perfectly located just enough off of Duval to keep things quite but not too far to walk to get in the mix. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend this place.

The interaction with staff was pleasant. I would definitely come back. I think the only item missing would be a grill as we like to buy fresh seafood and cook to enjoy the outdoor space even more. The main house was very spacious and has all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. There is a large refrigerator, a full size oven, a toaster, a Keurig and complimentary coffee pods. The room was very clean and there is a lovely balcony where you can relax and enjoy the views. The pool is a wonderful bonus as well. The property was very clean and kept up nicely and within walking distance to Duval St.

Beautiful mansion converted into lovely suites. Ours was clean and tidy and enough space for the two of us. The outdoor area is spacious for sitting outside for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Great communication about the property and an excellent concierge service. Beautiful part of old town and easy to get anywhere from there.

We had a great time at Azul Mansion in Key West - January was great time for a visit. We had a group of six in 3 rooms - and loved having indoor and outdoor locations to meet. We enjoyed the coffee, tea and chilled water - nice hospitality! The location to activities was good - far enough to be quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere!

Second time staying at this property. This time stayed in the Cohiba, last time the Fontena. Both excellent.Cohiba was one of the "smaller" rooms with a queen bed. Although small, it was not too tiny for the two of us. It's extremely CLEAN and beautifully decorated! More than enough space in the dresser to put our clothes in and a rolling clothes hanger was available. Bathroom exactly as pictures. Small, but not too small. Ac worked well, and not noisy as said in some reviews. Everything Exactly as depicted in the pictures and description. The grounds and the house are immaculately maintained. It is a quiet quaint place that is a few blocks from Duval. It is very walkable. There's a CVS a block away.Parking is limited, but we were a group with 4 cars and 2 golf carts and had no issues parking. There is quite a few parking spaces also available across the street in free street parking daily. Pool temperature is kept perfectly. You feel like you are in your own home. You rarely see other guests or the workers that come by early in the day. I just LOVE IT here!I can't say enough.
